i detest chic flicks with a passion....and i'm not big on comedies either.  the more profanity, explosions and shoot em up scenes in a movie, the happier i am.

What About Madame Razz the Orco rip-off?

Wait I know you were a Kowl the Owl looking thing Fan?

Maybe you were into Snout Spout the Robot Elephant Man..... Merrek would be pissed.
He-Man had the Tiger at least She-ra had the Horse that became the Pegasas.

What could be More Manly???

Maybe you were into the Bad Guys like

You mean to tell me that you didn't know about all the cool Bad guys?

Catra? False Face? Mantenna? Grizzlor?

Just to give you guys a heads up if there were a Dork Character in D'n'D that specialized in Useless 80's Cartoon Knowlege I would be a Level 60 one of them who uses a Bag of Plenty to keep all the extra knowledge that my head can't fit.

And the reference above is another reason I cannot claim to be an Uber-Dom.

Roflmao, I can so relate to that. Work can sometimes leave me embedded with lots of small bits of steel which I couldn't get at if I was freaking contortionist, suffice to say she gets to the squeezing them back out.

I sometimes put my male sub's wants/needs/desires ahead of my own.

If I'm hungry and not sure what to eat I'll ask my sub what he has a taste for.

l sometimes let him see the vulnerable me, particulary now since my Father has been ill.

I can and  regularly do spend time with Dominant men ... alone ... without witnesses
and not spend the evening sucking cock
Sometimes ... I even discuss politics with them -

but dont tell anyone ... because it would ruin their Domliness forever if it was known they spent the evening with a total doormat of a slave, and didn't bring her to her knees

I'm shorter, I mean, closer to the ground than everyone else. I'm not good looking, I know I'm not good looking. I'm not very serious a lot of the time, I like talking to, getting on with and having a laugh with people. I believe 1000,000% in sexual equality and would die or kill for that belief if it came to it I don't wear fetsh clothes, I know and have experienced less BDSM than everyone here (probably including the people with "vanilla") below their names.

I'm sympathetic, empathetic and I worry about people. I'm not gruff, and I don't posture, I'm quietly spoken, shy and believe in good manners and respect.

I'm a wimp.

I also have a credibility problem which was "bestowed" upon Me by someone on here.

I cannot wear/stand in heels that are higher than 2 inches
I've never worn a corset in my life.
None of my genitalia are pierced.
I have no nude pix of myself that I share with anyone.

I've been known to tell a dominant that he/she is full of shit, if he/she is being arrogant, egotistical or pompous.

I've never been actively/personally involved in a public scene..ie dungeon.

If my D-type ( who is actually 3000 miles away right now ) asked me to procure him a submissive locally, I would, but I would also crumble into an emotional mess of insecurities..and there would probably be tears involved...lots

   great thread MR : )

Yeah, yeah.  I'm like all over dick flicks (I even have a name for them lol).  If there's more than two females in the movie, and they aren't packing, I'm like, whats up with this girlie shit?

I stayed up way too late last night watching a movie with lots of fighting and masculine posturing.  I don't have a tv but was at a friends house so I indulged.  He went to bed early, but I couldn't turn off the damn tv.  It wasn't even a good movie, by any objective standard but there's a formula I just can't get enough of.  The best man always wins in the end, where best means the most self-controlled.  Ego=death and dispair.

*sighs*

It's the fucking stereotypes I'm chasing. :)

Good post. I can relate to most of what has been said here.
Do you know that most Disney movies are violent.

How true! A lot of scariness in them. Cruella DeVille and the witch in Snow White gave me nightmares.

As Greedy put it I am me.
Can't say what I realy am because I tend to adapt to different people.

OMG, you're Zelig!

Wow, what a GREAT thread!

Like several others who posted here, I find most fetish wear so silly-looking that it detracts from the atmosphere, rather than enhancing it. To me, it emhasizes artificiality, whereas I thrive on realism. Exceptions abound, of course; some women look awesome in fetish gear, as long as it's not overdone.

I'm also another know-it-all, and have trouble holding my tongue when I disagree with something. It's not an ego thing, it's about making thing right. I really do have a lot of knowledge about a lot of things, hate leaving misconceptions going unchallenged.

The classic "eyes downward" submissive posture doesn't do it for me. It makes me feel angry rather than submissive. I think this is more about upbringing than anything else. As a child, it was considered DISRESPECTFUL to NOT keep eye contact with an authority figure who was talking to me. If I was angry, I would look away, and my father would always say "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"

I'm very much the "anti-subby"...in fact, I'm the CM resident anti-subby.  It says so in my sig line, so it must be true!

I'm not the "typical" submissive type.  I carry myself with an aggressive, "dominant" demeanor.  I walk with head held high and will look anyone in the eye and stare them down.  I often speak my mind and am blunt when I do so.  I tend to be confrontational.  Mistress says testosterone runs rampant in me and She considers me Her "little bad ass".  My dragon-nature is very prevalent in my everyday self, therefore I'm very, VERY protective of my queen.

However, I enjoy chick flicks, love songs, going shopping with Mistress, and talking about my feelings.  I have some knowledge to give sound fashion and make-up advice...Mistress was very impressed with that fact!  It's like I'm a chick with a dick...LOL

A stray thought--

Alot of these comments--in general, not just your post.  Your post just illustrates it well--seem to hinge on gender stereotypes.  Sometimes, I get the feeling that het-male d-types are looking for nothing more than stereotypically feminine women to act in stereotypically feminine ways.  I always shy away from these people because I don't know that I could ever serve them well.  I'm not good at being a girl except on very rare occasions where my most submissive side comes out.  But, it takes so much to get me there--usually a hard beating, I can't pretend to offer up that part of me as a service.  I'm usually amazed when 'she' emerges and barely recognize her as being part of me so I know better than to count on her.  (Right now she's in deep retreat, much to my consternation.)

anti-stereotypical of a male submissive traits, hmmm...

I'm not going to clean anyone's bathroom. Ever.  I don't even like doing my own housework and consider it worth paying someone else to do it, there are enough boring repetitive things one has to do, why add others if you don't have to.

I don't watch television and sometimes end up lost in conversations when people are talking about things on tv everyone has seen; then I bluff or keep quiet and wait for the subject to change.  This goes double for pro-sports.

I like to wear black.  Sometimes I pull the upper part of my hair back and braid it.  Sometimes I spar with it that way.  I'm not bi "only to please Mistress".

I like the Three Stooges and am bemused that I do.  I'm a retard when it comes to computers; the average 13yr old knows more.

In rl I addressed a dominant whom I felt was being a nasty idiot as Numb-nuts... it was a woman.

~aiden-- not me, the other aiden who is a member here

.......now I have a vision of MLady saying that though I'm not a service oriented sub,  I've made it plain that bathroom cleaning would be a suitable gesture of submission / attitude adjustment for me and of course I would do it.  Sighs* because I see a toilet brush and  ScrubbingBubbles in my future.

I have self-respect and I don't think of myself as a worthless worm.

I see my Owner as more than a prop for my sexual fantasies.

I don't see myself as inferior to anybody who has the audacity to capitalize their names or put some honorific in front of their name.

When first contacting my Owner, I foolishly forgot to send her a picture of my erect penis to show my submission, nor did I ask her to send me pictures of her hawt boobies.  Obviously, I'm lucky I ever attracted her interests.

I suppose I'm not a Weal Twue Dom because mostly I don't give a crap about protocols except when my submissive lady and I play. We're people first and Dominant/submissive second.
