Hmmm I don't know a single human who is able to do that...

I mean you first have the control of gravity, weather, time, space and other natural phenomena.

And this pretty much knocks out any dominant who is not self-employed in a company of ONE, or not living in an area with any external laws or authority to impose upon them.

And I suppose it also leaves out any dominant who allows their slave to do anything FOR them, since it's in the slaves direct control at that point.

"Complete" control is quite an interesting statement to make...perhaps you want to qualify that.

This is ridiculous and unrealistic. Dominant persons are not gods. They're human, just like every other human. Humans run into problems that they cannot control. That's how our world works. A person can do their best to be responsible and handle themselves well, but you can't always be in control, no matter your dominance, submission, switchiness, or nillaness.

If CP is who i think He is, no, He would never KNOWINGLY place Himself in a position in which he was not in control. A fiori, anyone can have an accident.

I can personally guarantee myself and a few other million people could get under your skin enough to make you control.

So, going along with the original question. You are a switch then?

Or, does a dominant lose a bit of control when there is a crisis at work he or she is taking the full brunt of. Or when your entire family has just passed away in a dreadful car accident.
When the person you've devoted your life with...you walk in and find them in bed with another?

There are a great many ways we lose a bit of control on a daily basis. So, for a person to say they do not put themselves in those situations means they are not living.

It's irrelevant, whether he would "place" himself in a position of control or not, because life is what happens when you're living it, in control, or not. As sub4hire said, your entire family could die (god forbid), or you could sleep in and get reprimanded at work, or you could stub your toe, or drop a hammer, or crash your car because of black ice on the road. Any number of things could happen that could easily cause you to lose control.

You domliness meter doesn't drop because it rains unexpectedly on your way to grandma's house and you have to take a detour.

LA listed quite a few ways that most people *knowingly* place themselves into positions where they are not in control.

Unless one is independently wealthy, self-employed (and not in any type of customer relations industry, either!), living on his own island - and who does not send his slave to do things *for* him...

Then he must *knowingly* place himself into *many* positions where he is *not* in control.

I suspect that CP was refering to the fact that he would never WILLINGLY or KNOWINGLY place himself where he was not in control. If that is the case I can agree with that. The only thing which ever scares me is when I do not have control of my life and knowing that others whom I didn't know from a bar of soap and who probably don't give a damn anyway and calling the shots.. I have far too many horrific memories when that has happened in the past.

Anyway CP I'll echo that "Up the Celts" (The Celtic Nation not the football team)

perhaps said 'Dom' enjoys bottoming on occasion, and finds it simpler to involves Himself with a 'switch' who is not as likely to get psychological at the prospect of being directed to Top her Dominant?

Neither will I, nor anyone else I know whether dominant or submissive.
