How you dress does not define your Ds role. Before you start to think of it in terms of how it affects your role, look at how it affects YOU and how you feel about yourself. Until you can accept this as a genuine, authentic part of yourself, you won't be happy...not matter what role you choose.

The longer I am around the world of kink, the more I see super spun variations on "the norm".  If this isn't about fucking around and having fun with taboos, I don't know what is.  Since I am very body-tolerant I enjoy men who have what I refer to as lucious man-boobs.  I play with dominant men too, and well, I like boobies, I like sexy underthings.  I'd go for it - but I am not a sub.  Just love yourself and love your bod, and you will find subs who do too.  There is no greater aphrodisiac than genuine self acceptance.  Does wearing a bra make you queer?  Who cares?  Sexuality has become such a fluid thing and labels so much less meaningful.

You're not alone ... I have been contacted by several CD doms ...and know of another whom considers himself straight... when with femsubs dresses in male garments only.... accepts the fact  most femsubs do not want to see their male dom in womens undergarments   but satisfies his  bra and womans pantie fetish though exhibitionism through camming and online only with  male subs, unless he finds a femsub comfortable accepting of

dominant is dominant.
kink is kink

they have nothing to do with each other.

Sure, lots of subs have some sort of ridiculous mental image of what a "true dom" looks like.  For some kicks, go read the anti-stereotype thread.  The good news is that people foolish enough to choose the appearance of dominance over the actuality of it get their karma back again really quickly.

Thanx all for the responses

This is a Big Issue for me, and one I've been wrestling with since childhood.

I really do thank the ones that took the time to respond....
and I apologize for the intermittent snarkiness....

Feel free to tell me to STFU

The one thing I am terrified of is taking myself too seriously.

Hi all,
So, here is My Issue...
I'm a straight (as far as I know) male top.
I'm str8 in that ive never been attracted to a boy
I'm male in that i have a dangly bit in the nether region
and I'm a top because...well...imma top, ffs

but, my..mine..Kyle's biggest physical "turn on" is wearing a bra
which is kinda defined as a male sub thing( in the male sexual fetish/kink arena)

Well, everyone needs a hobby Kyle, and your's appears to be ladies underthings. Some of us like to stick anal plugs with horse hair up our asses and prance around like ponies, and some of us like to wear the other gender's underware.

In my personal opinion, what makes the huge differance here is not what anyone who's not currently in your life may think about such a practice, but what YOU think. Clearly you are feeling uncomfortable about your fettish and confused. You seem highly interested in 'what it means' and more pointedly, what it means about you.

Fetish is, as fetish does is what I always say ~grin~ And really, it doesn't have to mean anything other than what it is - a turn on. It doesn't have to define you - it could, but it doesn't have to.

If you are being honest, and you aren't attracted to men, and you aren't feeling a submissive vibe, then really, you might have a bra fettish.

quote:

so... its kinda a 2 part question...
are there any subbie gurls out their that might accept a daddy in "girls clothes"?

I'm sure you don't realize that the term subbie in some circles is offensive.

I have no idea what other people are willing to accept or not, but I would be hard pressed to submit to someone who cross dressed. But that's me; I'm confident that there are others who wouldn't have a problem.

and...
Am I being blind to a possible Queer/TV/Subbie side of my sexual nature?

I'm sure you don't realize that the term subbie in some circles is offensive.

You seem rather hard pressed for someone to give you permission to be "Queer/TV/Subbie side of my sexual nature?" Or, at the very least you don't appear to be quite sure where you fall on the continuum. A bit of advice: this can be rather rough terraine if you aren't sure who you are and what you are. You can scrape a knee and then some that way.

These are questions only you can answer for yourself. I would suggest that you spend some quality time doing some serious self assessment and honest self analyzation, and find these answers out for yourself.

First time I've ever heard "subbie" might be offensive.
I've always used it in the same spirit as "baby", "babe", "dear", and "sweety"(and sometimes...not often...but sometimes..."hun")
Guess I'll add that to the list of every other damn words we can't utter.
I suppose I'll just stick to "Filthy CumDumpster"

Other then that.. thank you for the well thought responce.

edit:can't....stop...proof reading.

A lot of people take offense at subbie, especially if you're referring to someone you don't know.  Why?  It's a diminutive -- you are somehow less because of your orientation.  The way I look at it, saying "sub" takes less time and energy, so why not use it?

Not just in this thread, but in general, you seem extremely uncomfortable in your own skin.  The issue here is not how potential subs perceive particular acts, but how they perceive you.  And that has a lot to do with how you perceive and present yourself.  I think if I told anyone I have ever played with, "I'm wearing a bra today," they'd go, "Uh, ok,  whatever floats your boat."

What's the worst that could happen?  If someone you care about develops fits of laughter, at least she is having a good time!

I personally don't go for men in women's clothing.  Period.

I can only answer the second part of your question.  What a dominant wears means little to me.  Also, I feel how you view your orientation has nothing to do with what you are wearing, whether it be a bra, jeans, or a suit of armor.  You alone would only know if you are being blind to anything regarding your sexual nature.

Does that mean you would still look up to me if I was wearing sweats and house slippers? Not that you really could look at to me, I'm short... but ... anyway....

Heretic? Have you considered the possibility of wearing a bra that has little or no cup to it? Or maybe a sports bra? Both could be worn under your clothes and be virtually unnoticable.

As far as finding the right person? Oh yeah, it's possible, it has to be. Look at me, I collect some of the strangest things, ok, maybe I obsess over some of the strangest things... and hubby just thinks it's tooooo cute. So yeah, I believe she's out there for you.

as far as a crossdressing fetish goes...duh

and, yea, there are a ton of TV/TS dommes out there, yea they exist...and almost exclusively they work with queer boys

Pardon me but I think you should re-think this part a bit more....boy. Crossdressing is and never has been an indicator of homosexual tendencies. More often than not, it is a straight male who has a fetish for wearing women's clothing.
