Status: offline 		On another message board I read a comment someone made about their behavior during play. They were not to make any noise except to say “Thank you”. This made me think of how very different my behaviors are during play. My Lord encourages us to be completely free during play and to say and react however we wish. As a result, I am very vocal and hmmm… physical in my reactions. Many may think that this behavior is disrespectful to my Lord, but for us it just makes for an incredible play experience.

The best play to date that my Lord and I have had is a couple weeks ago at a play club in my area. I was dealing with a lot of stress and anger in my life and I used the play as a constructive way to express that. I completely let go and allowed my Lord and the play to take me on a ride. We elicited quite a few gasps and “Oh my God” from people watching. Basically, the play ended up in a heavy kicking scene with me throwing the first kick. His reaction to that was, “Oh so that’s how you want it, well two can play at that game.” Then He took off His boots and proceeded to kick the hell out of me. I got in a few good kicks even though my Lord says I kick like a girl. *g* I am not sure if that shocked people as much as me yelling at Him “my Lord, F*** off my Lord”. That same night my sis, alandra, surprised a few when she got pissed off as well. Needless to say, the three of us had a great time and my Lord is still laughing over me kicking Him. There have been other plays where I have slapped Him, punched Him, called Him quite a few colorful names, ripped strands off of a flogger, mocked Him, pulled His hair, tried to snatch a crop out of His hands and laughed hysterically.

I find the different reactions and behaviors during play interesting; it’s not just about the toys and props that are used. I am curious, how do other bottoms react during play? Are you quiet, loud, passive, aggressive, etc.? If you are a top, do you encourage your bottoms to be completely free or do you expect only a certain behavior like no noise but “Thank you”. Why do you prefer to play this way? What do you get out of it?

Status: offline 		Left to my own devices I tend to be very vocal during play and even moreso during intense physical play. During play that is psychologically intense (ie fear/mind fucks) I tend to get very quiet. If I start to get loud or scream during that kind of play the Top knows they've pushed me over the edge (which is yummilicious Emotionally intense play results in me 'going little' and that tends to be very quiet and sheepish.

I have done some very physically intense scenes where the Top has given me very strict rules for behaviour during play. I was to keep talking to him limited and if I did need to say something it was to start with "Sir" and end with "Sir." I could say "Sir, fuck that hurt, sir!" but not "Sir, fuck you, sir!" LOL I was not to make eye contact unless requested to (or until the scene ended and there was a cue to denote when the scene began and ended) and I was to repsond to all instructions with "Sir, yes sir."

Initially I thought this sounded kind of amusing and being the type to want to experience all sorts of different things I was eager to give this a go. What I did not expect was that the combination of intense physical play/endorphins coupled with the contrast of very strict behavioural rules resulted in some really scrumptious sub spacey feelings for quite a while afterwards.

I think whatever works for a Top/bottom pair is what counts. What others think is rather irrelevant.

Status: offline 		Yes, it's interesting to see what different rules Mistresses have for reacations during play. Some don't allow any eye contact or speaking, others find you boring if you just say "yes Mistress" all the time.

Status: offline 		kyra once again I am some what in envy of you....lol. You are so very lucky to be able to vent in that way, to totally let loose and not worry about the consequences. I hope one day I will find a relationship dynamic that makes me as happy are you are with KoM and alandra.

Status: offline 		If I'm doing S&M play, I'm mostly very very quiet, and make sharp but small noises in response to hard or very stingy hits. Sometimes I'll moan, and sometimes, if the play is to relieve stress, I'll cry (tears, not screams).

Status: offline 		I used to be rather quiet when Master and I first started our relationship - a habit I think from having small children! However, as we've gone on, I've become a lot more vocal. I moan, cry out, grunt, yelp. The neighbours must wonder what the hell is going on (we live in a unit block).

Status: offline 		I have a high pressured job. Emotionally, I am often wiped out, drained of all energy when I get home. Physically, my heart will race and my body could really use a 5 mile run. My dominant knows that at times like these, what I most of all need is a release to "purge" the negative energy from my body. His way allows both of us a means to use all the pent up physical excess accumulated in my psyche. It can all start with some playful bantering about politics or anything, actually.

As it heats up, I can end up fighting, snarling, or even trying to bite (my favorite). We end up in wrestling matches, to which the ending is already preordained. I can not win as I am neither as strong, fast, nor ruthless as he. Pinned by him, laughing so hard that both of us have tears welling in our eyes is a sight to behold. Of course, afterward is even better! It's one thing to have bruises across your ass or breasts where no one can see them. It's quite another to be in a very professional environment with bruises on your arms (and yes, once even on my chin). For me, it is just another way in which he shows how well he knows me, how he has truly mastered me.

Those darn dogs....I really should have them trainned! LOL

Status: offline 		As sis says, our Lord encourages us to be free to express what we are feeling both verbally and physically during play. At one public play party, i was in a very aggressive headspace at the start of play. There was more than a couple of times that after a heavy cane strike i would let go of the pole i was against and punch the wall.*ss* it almost became a game during play , just how many strikes or how hard the strikes where to make me need to punch the wall. Later in the play, i tried kneeing Him in the groin and also pulling His hair. All of these actions on my part pleased Him and added to His enjoyment of the play. Though later when He leaned in to see how i was doing, as i had become non-verbal *giggles* the irresistible urge to lick His nose come over me. The shock of that action had Him frozen for a moment, then laughter not only from Him but others watching the play. Mind you *grins* i did pay*in a good way* for that shock. Within our Lord's play i have gone from quiet to screams, tears to uncontrollable laughter, soft moans to swearing in pain; the variety and freedom of expression within the play, brings more passion and honesty to the play, making every play unique and significant.

Status: offline 		i think Master and i are right in the middle of the "yes Master and thank you Master" and the OP's way. Though i am not allowed to strike out at him, in any way shape or form, i am express myself in any way i choose. LOL though i am not allowed to growl at hiim. Which has happened on occasion during very intense scenes. LOL it just pops out of my throat! But on the whole, when it comes to reaction, pretty much all is okay as long as it isnt aggressive or attempted escape. LOL

i make a variety of noises. Not that i could specially tell you what as usually i am not in my head at the time and floating on pure feeling.

Status: offline 		I personally become almost primal during s/m scenes, in that I am unable to form coherent sentences, and sometimes not even words. I groan, moan, snarl, cry, hiss...almost like the kat of my nick. (Most of the times I have all sorts of cuss words racing through my brain though...sometimes I am sure that people would be shocked if they could read my thoughts.)

I am now free to be whomever i am. Thats normally quite vocal. Can be physical. Its not different to the submissive expression, just has more facets.

During play i couldn't remain still if i were under quicksand. It just is not going to happen. As for what i say when i am playing....i am not sure that i want to find out. I can remember telling a Dom that i am not a very well versed begger. It is not something that i have spent a lot of time doing, so i was not accomplished in begging. After our scene he let me know that my begging skills were right on the money...and that i sure begged wonderfully for those orgasms. I don't remember a thing.

Status: offline 		i do remember the time Master first bit my vagina. My response was VERY shocking to him and left me confused. It was the first time i growled at him. Completely, gutterly. LOL i dont remember specifically what i said, but i know it had to do with "if you dont get your teeth of me right now........" Everything was in jeopardy. i do vaguely remember threatening to cut his penis off, threatening to kill him (i think), pretty much anything and everything that could and would do serious bodily harm to get him OFF of my vagina. It was about a 5 minute dialogue and my most intense reaction.

I make very little noise if it is my choice because I am just a quiet person, but he likes me to be loud and he wants me to talk and to beg. And so when he asks me to I do those things, but normally if I have my choice, I am relatively quiet.
