It all depends on how you define the word. Some will tell you a slave has no rights, period, so obviously, by that definition, no, you cannot change them. Other will tell you that a slave has some rights, or that a slave is given some priviledges on an individual basis. The thing is, it's individual. You need to ask whoever owns you if it's possible, or, if you aren't owned, you need to ask yourself how YOU feel about your own rights.
