I like this thread :) I have two of them .... One I agree if you kill someone in a horrible manner... that when they pass sentence on you and you are convicted that you should have to die in the same manner that you caused the person or persons you are convicted of killing. Cruel and unusual... ummm and I can almost bet that when you were about to take those peoples lives you didn't bother to ask them if it was okay if you took theirs!!!! So piss off... you lose your right you took a life and now they should be able to take yours in the same manner y ou took theirs !!!!!!!!!!!!
And the other one is .. if you have animals and you mistreat them or kill them .. ( and I am not talking farm animals or animals used for food) that if you are caught dropping them off on a deserted road to fend for themselves or to be left to die .. that the same should happen to you. If you don't want the animals or they get pregnant and don't want them .. then you should have taken care of that before hand !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe that person should be taken out on a back country road somewhere and left in the heat with no water or very little food and left to fend for themselves...

Okay sorry those two things bother me greatly .... but had to put my two cents in :D

2. I don't intend to drive in any of thos coountries, when I have gone OOC (Italy, France, South Africa, Peru, Jamaica, Tahiti, and Austrialia, I have someone drive me around, they know their way around and I am on vacation.

2a. If I was going to live in another country, yes I would learn the language.

Well since many of the courts are claiming that the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment, because the penalty does not fit the crime. I would make punishments more appropriate to the crime.

1. Maybe instituting a forceable penetration by various farm animals once a week for repeat rapists.
2. Inserting glass rods into the urethra and allowing the victim to shatter them with a hammer, again for rapists.
3. Arsonists (especially those that cause physical harm) having an arm deep fried (first offense).

And of course all of these criminals would be provided with a couple of cyanide capsules, to opt out of the prescribed sentence. This way the choice of punishment would let the prisoner decide just how cruel and unusual a death sentence actually is for their individual case.

Just some random thoughts on a Sunday.

i'm sorry maybe i am over thinking this.. but the idea of limiting people to breed is a little too much. i'm the product of mentally ill parents, and to some i guess i don't belong here because to most of society they're not worth much. To me.. they're my parents an nuts or not i love them.. so ya i think i'll stay quiet on this issue..my one law would be this..think about how a law affects everyone and be sure of all the consequences of said law before allowing it.. an most likely we'd be a few laws short..
