Actually...he directed The Princess Bride and I really like that movie.
Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

He also directed "This Is Spinal Tap", a brilliant parody, as well as "A Few Good Men", "Stand By Me", "The American President",  and "When Harry Met Sally".

Feeling foolish yet, Popeye?

Hippie, no, I'm not feeling foolish.
I was asking a question, I'm definately not a "movie person."
I think the last movie I saw in a cinema was "The Perfect Storm" in what, 1999?
If you're running for president you don't want to be within 500 miles of "Hollywood."
They call the rest of the country, "flyover land."
They think they're "hip" and people like you, me and everyone else on this board are idiots.
What they (don't) know or seem to be aware of is that us people in "flyover land" are very well aware of their contempt for us.
They think they know better than the American People.
I wonder how many votes for John McCain Rob Reiner will be getting?

"Just asking a question", eh?

"Oh, Obama has another Hollywood supporter.
Director Rob Reiner!!!
LOL, he played "Meathead" on "All in the Family."
He's *almost* the male version of Barbara Streisand when it comes to socialist rants.
So he's a "director" now eh?
I wonder what he's directed lately?
Rob Reiner! lolol "

For not being a :movie person", you sure seem to know a lot about the guy and his "Socialist rants".

"Just asking a question", huh?

The rest of this last post of yours seems rather paranoid, what with your constant references to some sinister "they".

"Flyover Country" deserves its own thread.

I'd suggest starting with an 8 guage shotgun, and .44 magnum.  Excellent first-timer choices

If you wanna flinch all the time, sure.

I suggest a lever action in .38s/.357. Even a UM could plink away all day with 38s with little more kick than a .22, and then, if they should have to kill an attacking Zombie or something, then can drop in a .357, and get the job done.

If you think a .357 out of a 20" barrel is a little weak, you can do the same thing with a 44s/45. The idea is use cheap ammo at the range, but still have the capacity to drop an attacking Zombie.

I live in England. Handguns are banned here. A guy tried to sell me a handgun in a pub once. Go figure.

Undercover cop running a sting operation.

That way, they can publish numbers like, *even in pubs on a saturday night, x # of people were arrested..*
