Hello to my fellow CMer's. Especially all you Americans who have welcomed me so well.

I am travelling to the states on tuesday. My first visit.

Philadelphia then on to Florida.

I went back to Detroit in 1999.  Held a reunion party at Gilberts on Harper by 9 mile.

Correction!!!!

It doesn't look as if I will be traveling to the states on tuesday after all.

After recieving an email from lastminuite.com to confirm my booking, I recieved another one a couple of hours later calling into question the validity of the billing information I provided for my credit card payment, so they have cancelled my booking!!!

Computer programs.....they leave alot to be desired!!!

Thats after I have already booked my airfare to UK with ryanair.com and booked a seat on a Greyhound bus from Philadelphia to Orlando.

With the same card and billing information I might add!!!

So I've sent them a reply with the information they queried, so fingers crossed they reinstate my booking, otherwise I'm really up shit creek without a paddle!!!

I have to admit I was a tad stressed there for a while....lol

I only had 2 hrs sleep this morning after staying up all night trying to rectify the situation...lol

I will not be recommending lastminuite.com to anyone in future!!

Michigan City is in Indiana ya can't fool me, missy!!  But Gilbert's is still open, so I say RS shows us....well, whatever he feels like showing us....[sm=couch.gif]

A couple of booboos there though.......my connection from London and then Philly is Charlotte North Carolina!!!

However the flight is cheaper than a flight that just goes to Charlotte!!

I looked on the map Charlotte is closer to Orlando than Philly is, infact my bus connection in Richmond, Virginia is further from Orlando than Charlotte is.....lol

But the trip from Philly down to Orlando by road will be an experience in its self me thinks......lol
