To answer the poll, yes I am in a real time, real life Master/slave relationship. 

My former owner's kink was apparently to neglect his slave (me), and play mindfuck games with my need for time together and affection.  That worked until it didn't work anymore.

He sent me to my first play party alone at our local BDSM club.  I met an amazing and wonderful man there that night and we spent a lot of time just talking about stuff.  He asked me out.

Later I reported what had happened to my then owner and he started his mindfuck thing again and told me that I could go out with this man if I fucked him first.  (he played this game many times when I was desperately lonely, knowing I wouldn't do it)

A few weeks later I reported back to my then owner that I had done as he required.  He was shocked and tried to turn it around and call me selfish.  Needless to say, his neglect and mindfucks backfired on him as he is no longer my owner.

It was my beloved Master that I met that night 07/07/07.  Four months later he professed his love for me and his desire to own me.  A month later he put his collar around my heart.  *happy sigh*

My former owner has tried several times to get me to come back, and still claims that he could have me back at any time..... if he really wanted me.

I still find it amusing that the former spent so much time and energy pushing me away, that the final push sent me through a door where my destiny waited on the other side.  Guess I oughta thank him for that.
