A few stray comments in the past couple of days have made me wonder what different members might be seeking from the boards. Some people seem to 'make friends' on the boards. Do you come here seeking a sense of community? I have friends who are quite settled and happiy married/involved. They visit the boards when time permits to share or learn or maybe just have a giggle. Do you come here to share what you know -- on any subject -- and learn from others? Do you ever seek to be entertained here? One woman made mention of how she and her partner had 'met' via the boards and that she believed this was 'better' than meeting on the other side. Are you using the boards to seek a partner? Are you finding that effective? Do you have a preference for seeking via the boards as opposed to the other side of CollarMe? Does you desire to find a partner via the boads affect the way you post? One man made the comment that anyone interested in him would read his posts so as to get know him. Do you post in hopes that you wll pique the interest of someone on CollarMe? If so, does it have any impact on how you write posts? *What prompts you* to hit the 'message boards' button on the Main Page? candystripper**

i come to the boards for the giggles. Saying that i have to admit ive learnt alot from flitting around on here, i love other peoples opinions to different topics & i find myself sometimes questioning my own opinions and thoughts as well. i find most everyone friendly & just think its kinda fun here sometimes. sin.

i expect folks to have some basic reading comprehension skills when they post here.....but obviously i am lacking in them my self..... please tell me where, in quote: I tend to agree, colouredin. In fact, I was about to respond and say that I believe that while a profile is a good starting point in finding out if you have some common grounds or interests with someone, that doesn't tell you who they are or if you'd even like them. No. So why not take the time to just get to know someone as friend and see what happens? Starting as friends, expecting nothing more, can have some unexpected, delicious outcomes. It's how Lumus and I met here on the boards, and not by searching the profiles. [;)] it makes any indication of how they met being "better"?

Gosh- well I poked in only being curious, but when I seen the caliber of person here- I stayed. I like the tremendous brain power here- and life experiences. I have learned from others here- I have spoken to a handful off the board as well. I find the depth of the person here to be inspiring and refreshing. I appreciate so much that from here over the few years. I peak in here, my email, and surf whatever Im interested in for that moment. I like to see what is going on here with the crowd- and throw some ideas out too. So- I find, found some cool folks to hang with online, I am value all of you! :-) The world is a less empty place.

I come here to be sarky then run away giggling. I also like the fact that one post can be about politics, the next about food, the next about anal sex or weeing on people. Is an education, being here.

I log directly onto the boards, I rarely visit the other side unless I have mail or am very bored. As to what I am seeking from the boards, the same thing I am seeking from CM in general...absolutely nothing, it helps me pass the time now and then.
