What made my Master Andy contact me in the first place, on another site, was that he could not believe what was in my checklist, felt i was exaggerating to a degree that made him curious. Good job for both of us that he found out after a five and a half hour initial pm that i was all that i said i was, and scrupulously honest in my own assessment of my abilities and experience.

We took things further, and in the end met, and from then on he had proof positive that i wasn't lying, hadn't made things up, but that in some areas i had actually played things down.

It's true, there are some who inhabit sites like these and make up a whole life for themselves, and most can be spotted a mile away, but i would remind folk that sometimes something or somebody who looks too good to be true, or who you think is exaggerating really isn't.

Some people don't have the words, some people have to many of the wrong ones to make what they are and do seem believable, some don't speak the kinky lingo, others do nothing but, and that's where others make judgement calls as to whether or not to bother taking them seriously.

It's now 4 years since i moved to be with Andy, and even now we look back at the exploratory times we had, and the challenges i brought to our dynamic, our relationship. All i know is that for taking a chance and saying hello, and asking the right questions one Master found his slave.

Do you remember about, oh, a year and a half ago or so, the guy that came in and started a thread pretty much what you're talking about? Lots of folks jumped in and responded and it finally dawned on him that we were actually serious in talking about our varied experiences and it scared the shit out of him? He made some .. OMG, you guys do this for REAL sort of 'yer all sick' statement and departed lickity split.

Yeah.. still makes me chuckle.

I think there are some things I have actually done which look like complete fantasy. I mean I know i have done stuff that others actually fantasise about lol. I have definitely done stuff I have been told to do which looking back has been pretty off the wall.
But seriously: what is the truth? Two major theories abound about which the psychologists et al are still at logger heads about: you know the recall/reconstructed memory debate.
About the only thing I am ABSOLUTELY certain about is my National Insurance number and I learned this off by heart many years ago because it was deemed important.
In my sex drugs and rock and roll days (now it's two out of three days) I once was given lithium, Is it still around?). Not becaused I was having a psychotic break but because you know it was the days when I took anything at least once just to experience it.
Anyway I ended up stood in the middle of the street. Mind racing like mad. Legs and body unable to move even when I was depserate for a piss. I just stood there, legs open and pissed myself in public....(see someone's fantasy for sure).
Anyway the first thing they asked me when the stretcher came and took me to hospital was what's your name and what's your National Insurance number?
Was it a meaningful diagnosis?

LOL....that is too weird! Some of us were just discussing that guy Saturday night. He didn't start a thread here though. I posted about him in a thread about fantasy vs. reality where people were sharing funny stories. Took me a bit of digging but here's the post:

Oh, oh! That's right!! I knew it was something like that!

I was on Pogo working my monthly jigsaw puzzle last night and there was a chick in there talking to a guy about her being a sadist. The guy seemed open minded and interested in the subject and, of course, I'm interested in the subject, so I piped up and started to ask her a few questions .. What did she think of things like Burning Man .. did she ever have the opportunity to attend Folsom and stuff like that and shared some of what I like and some of the places I've explored. Turns out the open-minded guy had actually been to Burning Man but said he didn't really understand it, so we started chit chatting and sadist chick never said another word. I was just trying to be friendly and maybe find someone to pal around with in rooms while we do our badges and turns out that I made a new friend in Burning Man guy but sadist chick didn't want to have a thing to do with someone who actually had a bit of knowledge on the subject. Go figure.
