No. I mean, they know to a point about some of my interests; they're usually with me when I go to the "adult" shops. However I reserve the less maintstream purchases for online and home delivery, lol. If they were to ever ask me flat out if I was into some particular kink, I wouldn't lie, but it's best with some of them to keep things quiet.

No. I live in a small town, no sex shops, no porn purveyers etc. I can assure you that in 20 years of having breakfast at the local diner I have never overheard anyone talking about their sex life.

I don't feel the need to say "ooh, I got tied up and clamped last night". I don't talk about my sex life. My love life yes, she knows I'm very happy and she's heard me talk about his good qualities. But mostly my friends see our relationship and make their own conclusions. They see that I'm happy. They see us still hold hands all the time. They see the respect and liking we have for each other.

Yes, she does. Oh and no Leatherist, she is not kinky and much more than an aquaintance. Why would you say someone couldn't be a best friend unless they were kinky?

If BDSM is simply sex in your relationship, I can see how letting your best friend know your games may be awkward.
But BDSM is not only sexual in our dynamic, nor for others, so discussing clamps or sex life doesn't come into the discussion.

Considering I live with my best friend, if he doesn't know he is a blithering idiot. I don't have time to maintain alot of friendship type relationship stuff so it's just not a big deal.

All of my friends know I'm "kinky". Just what that MEANS, some of them know, some don't. Most of the closest ones know, some have made it clear they don't want that level of TMI.

I don't really have a best friend anymore. I mean I have alot of good friends, (the majority of them kinky.) But just havn't had the need to call someone my best friend. The 2 friends I still have from HS both know, kinda think I am crazy, but they want me to be happy.
