I think Harry is a bit of a poofter boy . Not that there's anything wrong with it. I mean...flying around on broomsticks andsuch and why doesn't he ever bust a move on Hermione, eh ? Or maybe he is just a subbly lad and Hermione is Domme...hmmmm...ya think ?

Much as I'd love to claim Harry for my team, he's always struck me as pretty straight. I do wish JKR had included an openly gay character.

'Cause he's smitten with Cho and then Ginny.

Well, I've finished rereading the series, and I think I've settled on Goblet of Fire as my favorite.

Partly I love the sheer length of it; I truly felt immersed in the wizarding world. And it's the only one of the long books that isn't shadowed (till the very end) by Voldemort's return, so there's still a nice lightness to it. Perhaps because I work in educational publishing, I've always been interested in Hogwarts as a school. That made it particularly interesting to meet students from other wizarding schools, and I enjoyed what a good teacher "Moody" was (though Lupin is still my fave). I also thought the Pensieve was really cool.
