Well, I've finished rereading the series, and I think I've settled on Goblet of Fire as my favorite. Partly I love the sheer length of it; I truly felt immersed in the wizarding world. And it's the only one of the long books that isn't shadowed (till the very end) by Voldemort's return, so there's still a nice lightness to it. Perhaps because I work in educational publishing, I've always been interested in Hogwarts as a school. That made it particularly interesting to meet students from other wizarding schools, and I enjoyed what a good teacher "Moody" was (though Lupin is still my fave). I also thought the Pensieve was really cool.
