I've never been in a relationship where one person bogards the perfection bucket. Some people may disagree- some don't like their girls to show any opinion that's different from the dominants. I just know it would get frustrating. Edited to say I suck at yes/no answers

I try to think of it as, "What makes us win?" Otherwise, instead of a team effort, it's a battle of wills, which is kinda boring.

Very funny Lynnxz... I was in a relationship where I was wrong most of the time, even though he would espouse the opposite - how he would listen to me if I had expertise in something. When push came to shove (not literally!), however he would always get the last word and I'd back down. He would go on and on about things and even though I disagreed, I'd be told why I was wrong for disageeing, for example. Ugh .. that got old really fast. Submissive doesn't equal stupid. Nor does being submissive (to me) mean always propping up the ego of the Dominant.

On the plus side, if you honor agreements and don't play games-there is seldom a reason for strife. I would have to wonder about a person who played double standards with thier word-since that would make it useless.

Arguments here are to be settled and avoided, not come to fights. With that said, if I disagreed with him and gave him new information which made him change his mind, that isn't 'winning a fight'. That's me doing my job of helping him. I'm supposed to not let him make a mistake if I know something he doesn't. Physical stuff? If we're playing and he allows me to pin him down and climb on top, sure. But that's just fun.

The rare times when there is tension, we work through it...... and it is always respectful. Everything that we do is for the benefit of our relationship and each other.

I used to try to fight him all the time. It would just leave us both pissed off. Gee, what a fun relationship! But those fights were usually fear-based on my part. When the fear went away our relationship became the priority, not my need to prove myself right (even when I wasn't!).
