since i am currently married (she is vanilla), i cannot become a 24/7 slave. However, in 8 years the kids will be grown. Have any of you been to OWK? is it as real as it appears? if so, in 8 years i may just take a 100k there and live my dream. your thoughts are appreciated.

Ewasub, there's an active thread called "The Conversation" you might want to take a look at.

The OWK trains women in topping techniques, and functions as a resort for femdom couples and do-me male subs. If you do a search on the boards for "OWK" or "Other World Kingdom" you'll find a couple posts by people who've been there. I know two women who have been there. No desire to go there myself.

No, it's for real -- whatever "real" means.

I attended a fetish party at the home of Mistress Ella Strictland -- link below. She's a citizen of the OWK. I saw her certificate of citizenship on the wall. She's one of the best friends of a friend of mine. I also met another of their friends who had gone to OWK with Mistress Ella. They've gone there at least twice. That's where Mistress Ella learned to use two five-foot singletails, one in each hand.

My take on it is that it is a kinky Disneyland, that would not stay in business except for the money of do-me subs. Given that, it seems to do some good things. I think the more "BDSM universities" there are, the better.

Kinky Disneyland is an excellent description. However, they can be *very* harsh to the males, in less than charming ways. A man I know was left outside in the snow, naked, and was sick for days~~a less than erotic experience.

I know women who have been there and just loved it, for that Disneyland quality. There really *is* a lot to be said for total freedom to express every dominant whim, no matter how cheesy or cliche! Or violent!

I learnt to do that at home for free by practicing on pillows. Well, all right, there *may* have been a sub or two involved, but at least I didn't have to go traipsing off somewhere.

In medieval times, students went from town to town to study with various scholars, and if they didn't like the scholar, they moved on! So the BDSM university might work out as a concept after all.

From what I understand, from a submissive who spent time there, it is a money making endeavour. Those who pay to stay there, and be abused (LOL!), also have to agree to photo shoots and other marketing moves that help bring more to the kingdom. More pictures to bring in more people and more money...quite the business venture!

I hope you're rich, but personally doubt if you'll ever get the chance to live there.

I did my training in Warsaw under an OWK Mistress, Kali Sado. There were times I wondered whether she could leave marks from using a rolled up newspaper on someone. She works as a Pro-Domme on the basis of word of mouth between Poland and Holland, occasionally taking one of her 'special' submissives down to OWK.

It's a small hamlet in the Czech Republic, it's devoted to hardcore Eastern European style BDSM. It looks harsh, because in comparison with much of what we do in the West Eastern European BDSM is harsh, and this is a sort of centre for hardcore male submissives and masochists to get their fix of beatings, humiliation and harsh treatment. It's the S/M version of Disneyland or more accurately the British Butlins holiday camps.

It's like the Kapitan Galeria cruises run every summer in the north east of Poland for female submissives. Kapitan Galeria (Gallery Captain) is one of my friends, an aged male Dom who owns a large yacht and every summer he and his partner Lady Bea run cruises for female submissives wishing to experience rum, sodomy and the lash first hand. Captain is also known as Mistrz Trzcinki (try pronouncing that, it means Cane Master) and is also an expert on canes and caning, importing them from Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. From the people that I have talked to that have visited the OWK, they were very dissapointed ( both slaves and mistresses ) apparently a lot of the areas seen on the site etc..are not open to the public, and those that are, are often closed for movie making ( a lot of "vanilla porn" is shot there ) so that is apparently a main money making thing for the place.

My suggestion is find a good mistress with a good dungeon if you are into "stuff", otherwise find a Mistress that does what she does because she enjoys it. A Mistresses best and most important tool is her mind.............she shouldnt need ANYTHING to dominate you.

It seems like a place as fantastical as that would dissappoint. Just like Disneyland is a crowded cement human zoo that reeks of too much sugar and vomit, so too is OWK probably less wonderful than it seems. I couldn't imagine simply picking up and leaving.

If you're that interested in getting involved in the world of BDSM, you should take all that money and found your own place for femdommes and malesubs.

greetings to the OP,

Might I suggest learning all you can about yourself, being submissive (or a slave), getting some local experience (with the consent of your wife) and doing the groundwork before making other plans?

If you just "up and left" (like your post suggests you want to) without all the basic learning first, you'd be very disappointed by what you found.

(I feel qualified to say this because I've lived the life of property (no contract, live in with my Master, day in, day out, up days, down days, through family/public interractions, punishments, happiness...the whole nine yards) for the past 3 (nearly 4) years).

If you can't tell your wife, this is something you will have to think about. If you are serious that you want to be in a total BDSM environment, OWK is not that. It is a place where you pay. A sort of BDSM brothel, one could say. In Germany and Austria, brothels are legal. I have seen their advertising booklet and it looks pretty damn cheap. I know a woman who goes there once a year. So, for one, the place really does exist. A kingdom it ain't.

Let me tell you about a story of a guy from Austria whose dream it was to be a slave in all BDSM environment. He saw an ad by a brothel/BDSM enterprise looking for a house slave. He got on the train to Hamburg, got the job and has lived there till now, happily. He does the cleaning up, all the stuff, gets some reward, gets his small living and that is what he desires. Hamburg especially the St.Paul redlight district, has a lot of places like that, and they are legal. If I were you, I'd go there on a trip and go look around, talk to people etc. Germans speak English, so not to worry.

It isn't going to cost you quite as much as you think and it might be a real plan. The Euro is expensive but there are smaller hotels you can stay at. Make friends with people online, and get information. Also take a look at Amsterdam and Berlin. Good luck!
