Status: offline 		hope things are going well for you.  you'll be in my prayers for sure, please have someone let us know how the surgery goes.  there are antibiotics they gave me when i had my staph infection, i had vancomycin while i was in the hospital and did infusions of ertapenem via the PICC line they put in my arm that went into my chest above my heart.  if you're not allergic to the drugs, it could take a course of 6 weeks to clear up a serious infection.  better to try that than consent to an amputation without giving it a half a chance.  i consented to my amputations to save my leg, but if i'd had a choice of a less invasive treatment to do first, i would have tried the antibiotics before, rather than taken them after as a precaution against spreading infection.  i'm praying you don't have to deal with either the infection or the other possibilities.  i've also found i have a habit now of disinfecting things more often.  you never know what can get you and where.  in this day and age of superbugs, not a bad idea for any of us.

An update holly? Not that we're at all concerned, worried or interested. But what's the current picture? If it's getting better we'll probably all just forget about you; if it's getting worse we'll probably all start adjusting to putting up with slower typing. But is just possible one to two might keep you (and yours) in their prayers either way.
