i have been questioning my submission as of late and now i'm questioning it even more. i feel lost and don't know what to do. depression is a wonderful thing...NOT!!!

michael, darling, try to relax! Self questionimng is almost the *hallmark* of the submissive mind! NEVER let *others* define yourself to you. You are the only authority on 'michael'. If you have the deep seated need to be submissive, then you are genuine, experienced or not.

You have the mental work down, now you wish to transition into the reality of RL. On the good side, I would bet that if you were able to offer something in exchange for a ride, someone in your local community would take you up on it. Offer your time, or what skills you have or your submission.

Also, tell people that you have done on line things, but be *honest* and say "In real life I am a novice." Believe Me they will respect such honesty FAR more than you might think.

In a very real sense, we are *all* novices in various areas of our lives. I have been in the scene for 25 years, and I am still learning, and will be a learner until the day I die. At the last play parrty I attended, I requested a Dom there to train Me in pressure point techniques and told him that I knew nothing about it but would like to learn. Admitting to being a newcomer to something gives you honesty, courage, grace and definite "sub-points" to any Dom/me! We, as Tops desire and respect honesty in any sub or slave and I know that with the humulity you have learned online you will find a good match in RL. Time is on your side, My dear. Trust your instincts.
