Am I the only nonservice orient sub here? No, I don't sit around feeling unwanted because he isn't giving me a task. But I've never claimed to be into that, nor him for that matter. I'm always willing to do stuff for him but it doesn't bother me if he puts the kettle on for tea instead of asking me to do it.

Celeste, don't feel alone. i am not service-oriented either although i certainly love doing things for the Dominants in my life, it is not my motivator. It is just part and parcel of time spent together. However, this is a great post Jewel and i have enjoyed the responses [:)]

I immediately got up and took the ball, threw it in the garbage and held him. I tossed it, watched it, and looked over at him, as if to say 'well? why haven't you gotten it.', and he went right after it. Of course I had to assure him it was just a one time thing, a small experiment out of curiousity. Yes, I'm probably a bit soft and lenient on him at times, but, it's working with us.

Well, yeah...deep desire to serve and all that. I'm not the type to ask for things to do, though. It makes me kind of uncomfortable, like I'm trying to control how much serving I do, and that shouldn't be up to me. I'd rather know that if something needs to be done, I'll be told to do it, therefore making it superfluous to ask for tasks.
