lol, just got through several of those links. i'm thinking more and more that caging would be a pretty hard limit. i'm mildly claustrophobic, but if i was locked into a place, especially if he wasn't there with me, i think i'd be a candidate for a severe anxiety attack. i HAVE to be able to get out of a confined space. cage time would be such a phobia i would need to have such a level of trust, and i don't know if i could get to that level in that regard.

I have had a claustrophobic slave say that the bars didn’t bother her as much as walls. It felt more open. However, you have to be comfortable with yourself and you can’t have control or confinement issues because getting out isn’t an option. You are surrendering in a TPE… if you expect a Master to take you, you must surrender. You must prove surrender. I have never accepted no for answer because of emotional issues before and I never will in the future either. If you got arrested and convicted, I don’t think the courts would set you free because you have issues about being in a 5x8 cell. I have had a few slaves that took issue with being in a 3x7 cag but I helped them work through their issues.

The cage is a powerful tool. There is a saying in my house. “It’s nothing 3 weeks in a cage won’t fix.” I’ll tell you what, I have put slaves into that cage that I saw had issues but, they claimed they didn’t have issues. You can bet your ass they could see the same glaring issues they were blind to previously after a while. When you are left for long periods of solitude to be your own best company, if you got issues, you will spot them. As a tool, the cage can be used as a physiological mirror if used for solitude.

in general, give me time to myself, my 500+ podcasts i want to catch up on and some quilting projects, i'd be happy as a duck.

perhaps it's merely claustrophobia (as a kid, couple of my brothers rolling me in a blanket and sitting on me and not letting me out even when i was screaming was the basis for this), perhaps it's deeper psychological issues (not trusting pple to let me out of a rolled up blanket!!) as you say.

it's not something i'm willing to test anytime soon.

perhaps in a deep r'shipship, when i feel a deeper trust, it won't be an issue at all. but for now, it causes heebie jeebies. i'd rather deal with psychological issues without bars.

hehe, maybe this is why i'm such an angel, can't stand the thought of being incarcerated!!
