Status: offline 		Funny that someone mentioned movies, my Dom and I were just discussing this from my past.  There was a really bad horror movie called "Wax Museum" (something like that in the late 80's early 90's) where the different exhibits came to life.  I remember, after everyone went home from the slumber party (I was 13?) rewatching the Marquis de Sade section over and over!  Started researching him after that.  All the things I read were pretty hot, but I wouldn't actually want to live them.  Hence, fantasy.  And there is always the fantasy of being abducted and kept in a secluded cabin for a while.

Dolcett is probably the author of your comic, or one if those influenced by him.  It has gotten to the point that people simply refer to the whole fetish by that artists name.  Cannibalism is one of our oldest taboos.  We don't think about it much anymore but try to put it into practice and you will most certainly get a lot of attention.  I think this stuff is fodder for role play scenarios, not actual practice.  The skewering and cooking part looks like fun but don't save a plate for me,  I'm a vegetarian.

It is times like this, especially when it is good to be a theater designer.  I could pull this illusion off fairly readily, I think.  Theatre and cannibalism have a long, glorious history together.
