I do think that CM ought to have a separate poll forum.

Anyway, here is my new poll, trying to get an indication whether my hypothesis that location on the dominance scales and prevalence of safe driving or hazardous driving are associated is correct.

Umm, not much response so far. I guess that most people are still in bed.

Car accidents include people that have managed to hit their trash can, or a wall or house that got in the way.

Ouch, big turn out so far...... *sighs*

Does it count that it was many, many years ago? And that I haven't had an accident in over 15 years? Or speeding ticket?

All accidents count, whether or not the person driving the car was to blame. As usual this is a fuzzy poll presuming that irregularities will negate each other, leaving a worthwile indication. It aims to establish presence of mind and reaction times. So if anyone managed to hit a lamp post it does count as an accident.

HMMMM..seems to me that alot of us subs CAN'T drive! But, to our credit, we sure can hit things!

I drove into a wall whilst learning because i temporarily forgot my left from right.
Needless to say i DON'T drive

I am soooo glad that I'm not the only one who has done this before! Didn't hit anything, but I was giving someone directions, pointed to the right, said "turn left here"......poor guy didn't know which way to go! Now I just point.....that seems to work!

i can't help but feel that almost all of us, dom, sub or switch, who drive on a regular basis have been involved in a traffic mishap at one time or another.

Well, I am unsure if I can answer the polls. I do not drive any more because, despite my own road rage at TARD drivers, I always seem to have someone slam into my car.

That, and after being in the passenger seat and having an idiot on her cell phone slam us at a red light, because she was not paying attention, and snap my neck, I have no desire to ever get behind the wheel again.

...Let's all ride bikes or sumthin'.

I am rather surprised that so many true subs have been in car accidents; not what I expected at all. So far it seems the best option is to have a natural slave for a driver.

i have only had one accident where a woman ran a red light and totaled my Camaro....... errr, OK there was that spin out in my ex's GTO! Ohhh, and the time i hit a pillar at the bank, and a curb i ran over bending a rim! My defense is that mailboxes should not be so close to the road, and roads/bank lanes should be wider!
