For bondage, electrical tape is just as good as duct tape unless you want to stick a slave to the wall, or cheaply wax the bikini line.

Electrical tape only sticks to itself, sweat will push it off, so it's more like rope than tape.

Okay, if you do include duct tape include the plastic wrap to put underneath it...and some goo gone, maybe, for those sticky spots...

The first time I tried duct taping my submissive over a chair, I learned two very valuable lessons. Number one was, use LOTS of duct tape. I tried three or four wraps on each limb and she tore right out of it. The second lesson was, use a very sturdy chair. After I re-duct taped her limbs to it, with lots of wraps, she broke the chair apart.

The second time I tried duct taping her was to a sling. That's where I learned that the plastic wrap underneath the duct tape is essential.

On nice thing about a masochistic submissive, you can claim your mistakes weren't mistakes, that you did that on purpose to cause pain.

Condoms! Can't believe you guys forgot that one.

Even if it's not for sex the way most would first think, anything that does not belong to you personally that might be inserted anywhere should be wrapped. Yes, most things can be cleaned and sterilized, but some anal probes retain a bad odor even after careful cleaning.

My favorite boy just bought himself a Rimba. He's been using it on himself (sticky pads on his back) for the past week. Yesterday, the majority of what we did was play with the attachments. I never even got around to picking up a flogger because we were having so much fun with the new toy. Even if you have a long distance relationship, your owner can tell you what she wants you to do with the device. Note: These are a touch pricey for starters. Normal price for the starter unit is $100-$130. The different attachments aren't cheap. But if you're into CBT - that Cock & Ball band set is da BOMB!

If you're into cheap CBT, then just go with the duct tape. Don't shave for at least a wekk and make sure you grind that in good when you tape your nuts to your thigh. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes before removing. Enjoy!

for your initial toy bag find things that you like, low cost is good just in case you don't like them. i have floggers crops and canes in mine. right now I'm slowly gathering toys that are in my color red. you might want to think about color for yours a s well.

oh yeah.... Go to WallyWorld, look in Housewares over next to the trash cans. (WHY don't they put clothes pins next to the laundry soap?) Look for the pack of white clothespins with the round open loop on the grip end and the little teeth on the insides of the clips. Those are very 'pinchy' and you really don't want a Zipper made of them... unless you're really into pain.

You use the suction cups parts of it MsStarlett.

As for duct tape, I saw Hardy Haberman do a real number on a guy once with it. He had a hairy chest like mine and it gave me the shivers to watch. Hardy took severl strips and put it across the guy's chest and down an arm as I recall. He ever so sloooowwwwly pulled it off, twisting it as he did! You could see the intense pain on the guy's face during the demo. He was also deep in sub space when Hardy was finished with him. Now I personally wouldn't want to try that kind of play, but if that's your thing, hey put some in your bag, and go for it! LOL!

A roll of that bondage tape OTOH can come in handy since it sticks together and can also be reused for many purposes. Ditto for some cotton clothesline that you can cut to lengths, then wrap the ends with colored thread to indicate what length it is. That's an inexpensive way to get into rope play. That stuff can also be used for CBT and other purposes. Be sure to wash it first to make it nice and soft.

If you're going to play with rope, get some emergency scissors for safety in case a quick release is needed.

Speaking of CBT, if you want weights for the parachute that was mentioned earlier in the thread, save yourself some money and go to a discount store and buy the heavy fishing sinkers instead of buying them from a BDSM shop. You'll save a lot of money in doing so. Just buy some spinners or something if needed to attach them to with fishing line. You can attach several to one for convenience if you want to combine them to increase the increments they're going to be used in. I've bought sinkers in sizes up to about 8 oz (1/2 Lb).

You can create a cheap humbler using 5/8" dowel rods (get oak dowel rod, not pine) and either have a Mistress use velcro quick wraps (like those used to secure electrical cords) to clamp it in place or rubber bands, tape, etc.

I strongly agree with the others who suggested you purchase your own cuffs. Choose what will be comfortable for you. This is where you won't want to scrimp IMO. Good ones that have a soft inner lining are worth the extra money.

I suggest you also purchase a thong. Not all will want to see everything you have so to speak the first time you play.

I recon I was the only one that didn't know there were suction cups in a snake bite kit. Three people, including my boy, sent me PMs explaining it. *shrug* I never claimed to know everything.

I never did replace my snakebite kit. It got these black smears all over it from being next to something rubbery...

It was a fun starter thing though.

Is it hard to unstick that bondage tape? I never invested in it because the idea of getting it rewound was unappealing. (I am one of those who would have to have it back into an almost-perfect spool).

Chiming in here bout bondage tape, its not hard to unstick, and goes back on the roll fairly well if you unwrap carefully (gives the submissive something to do tooo:)), It does get hot and sweaty after a couple of hours and if it gets wet it may slip. They have made lots of new colours, black, red, purple, pink, white, yellow and clear with barbed wire with hearts or roses(pics not the real thing). I like to use it instead of rope when attaching him to a web, but keep the emt scissors handy, you can tear it, it just not so easyas to cut it
I like vet wrap altho it is pricey it absorbs perspirationn and is comfy like an ace bandage.
Ive just seen the parachute with prickles...just to add more T to CBT, grins, now a trip to wally world for some fishing weights purrrrrrrrrrr oh and a snake bite kit tooo.

Pixel, best cheap weights for the parachute is an empty plastic Coke bottle. Just tie heavy cord around the neck under the cap flange, then tie directly to the chute ring or to a clip. Use a funnel if necessary, but just ad water until he begs you to stop. If you want to make your boy really nervous, use a 2 liter bottle.

Shucks MsStarlett! To think that all this time I believed that the best cheap weights for a parachute were any kind of weights a Domme wanted to hang from me until my knees buckled!

Bondage tape is pretty easy to unstick, especially if you apply baby powder or cornstarch. It can be difficult to respool perfectly, but far easier than respooling saran wrap. LOL!

Are we being a bit anal retentive on the respooling thing? Oh, I forgot, shame on me... Dommes are allowed to be that way!

I keep seeing men at the gym doing various chin up type exercises with weights hanging between their knees from chains attached to lifting belts. This always makes me smile. I keep wanting to walk by and say "Nice. Now hang that from your parachute and I'll be REALLY impressed."
