I was watching my local news, and this story came on: http://arkansasmatters.com/content/fulltext/news/?cid=89041 I laughed my ass off. I swear that there are some people who look for things to be offended by.

Funny how she just assumed what the letters would imply to everyone. Maybe she really thought it was short for "nagger" and thought her husband would love it too much[;)]...............luci

In a middle school? You bet she has to be like Caesar's wife. Somebody, most likely a mother of a failing student will claim she's prejudiced and point to that as 'proof'.

Well, I really see nothing wrong with not liking the plate you were given and asking for it to be replaced. And there are all sorts of crazy folks out in the world. Who knows who would find offense to that and make problems for her on the road.

Last years plate was the first time they didn't let me choose a different one instead of the one on top of the pile. I admit to being picky on my plates! I like certain arrangements of letters and don't like others. If I'd been handed the one in the article I would have asked to swap but I wouldnt have called the newspapers about it.

Some people are just looking for a reason to "be offended" so that they can pretend to be socially superior. You bet she called the station so she could look politically correct. I think they should have said, "Okay. We'll take it back. We'll just not allow you to license a car. Have fun on the bus." Funny, it seems more like "anger" to me. I think she owes the rest of us taxpayers for the cost lost in all those plates.

Yeah .. Greedy got it. I agree with slaveboy. It is absurd. What was even more absurd to me was the person who made the complaint.
