OMG you've got to be kidding Me! Coloring My hair is a LIE? geeez, i'm as to the point as you'll ever get! but I color, religiously........... I do it for ME. Please tell me what's wrong with hanging on to the appearance that I want to show the world? At least I dont lie about being 50!

Edit 'cause I read the post wrong.... It's all a matter of perspective as to what is and isn't a lie. To me, dying my hair a few shades redder than it's natural brown-ish red isn't a lie, it making something suit me. And, I'm not shy about admitting it. Perhpas that's what makes it not a lie? But, I don't hide that I'm 37 either. What I found interesting about the banter, more than this topic, was the immediate assumption that you were interested in her for a relationship, right off the bat. I do realize that's what we're here for, but geeze. Maybe it's just that I don't have a lot of experience in the dating world or something. Is it common to assume anyone who talks to you is interested? I don't. But then, I realize I have a different history than most. Master Fire

I love you! ~ I'm reminded of the last time I visited my parents (in their 80s) and my mother (started coloring her hair 40+ years ago) said "I've been dying my hair for so many years that I don't even know what my natural color IS." It's a shame people find it easy to forget their manners and respect on this site, unfortunately its easy to say mean things on a computer, fortunately for you though atleast you'll know not to message her again and waste your time on someone that isnt worth it! I just laugh when they tell me I should lie about my age and remove everything I have about my relationships from my profile and journal. I also block them as I have no use for people that think it is okay to lie.

Most do miss the point, they make a judgement without getting to know the person behind the profile. Then to make matters worse, they tell you what you should do LOL,,,Remember what Forest Gump said "Life is like a box of cho" This should be all about ones mind set (you never know what you will get untill you open it up)
