huh....I never noticed the Admirers button. Just checked it and it's empty ....oh well I don't really expect my "Hey I'm new and don't really know what I'm doing" profile to really get those juices flowing much...although I think I'm pretty cute .

Gotta tell you, I don't block people who say hello how are you, but unless I have established some familiarity and liking with/for them, I don't like notes just saying hello or how are you, or do you own a sub yet? To me it's a stranger who could give 2 shits about how I really am, and the "do you have a sub yet" sounds to me like "do you have what you want/need yet", and I always wonder how my personal biz is that of a stranger from Godknowswhere.
I usually reply with something short, even nice if I'm in a good mood, but that is only from controlling self and not telling them I think they're just dimwits who cannot say something simple like "hello there, I liked your profile or picture because of A, B or C, and was wondering if it would be okay we get to know each other better."

As for favs than blocking, hasn't happened to me yet. I have responded or sent a note complimenting someone who had me added as a favorite, and gotten dead silence back, so strange responses. M

I noticed when I log in I have this little side list of "admirers" (though I don't know why).

When I try and says "Thanks" to one of them I get back "this user has blocked you" message. Is that weird or what?

Why would someone "admire" you but block you from sending them a note?

Honestly, I think I have blocked about 4 people in all the time I have been here. I usually don't have that much of a problem.
But, I do seem to remember a recent thread about this, and it might be a glitch in the system here. Best to check with a Mod. I heard that some people were placing someone on a favorite's list and then seeing them on their blocked list. So it could be an internal problem.
*wanders off to check the various lists and see if this might be true!*

-falls over laughing- Oh dear...

Um... y'know... they may have decided they enjoyed your photograph and that's all there was to it. They don't want to be bothered by reality intruding on their fiction so they add and block. And perhaps they've got other "favorites" with photos that tickle their... um... hehe... fancy.

We to have on occasion more out of curiosity than for any other reason looked at our Admirers list and been surprised to find names on it so have sent a message to that person just saying thank you for showing interest in us and that if they wished to chat with us at any time to please feel free to contact us through CM and we will indeed chat with them.
Only have had one no reply and also after the first couple of messages had to block one other person due to their rudeness and disrespect not for us as being Doms but as people the other ones we have become friends with only due to distance ( like half a world away mostly).

To help as much as we can sexslave when you log in you are taken to a pae with your country in it if you have put that in the search part the top and also with what ever else you have ut there includeing age and sub/dom/slave these are between the list of people fiting that search and a profile above it then on the left hand side about th emiddle is a list of buttons with New Users, then Favorite Users,Blocked Users and Admires each of these you can click on then under the buttons is a list of htose in which ever it is you want so yo can see who is in them.
The Favorites and Blocked ones are put there when you find a profile which is what you feel happy with and then when you click on show full profile right at the top of it is a row of buttons with back to list,<<photo, photo>>,then Add to favotites,Email Profile (this sends the profile to your own email address so you have a copy of it) and last is block.
Block is used when you are messaged by some one who is a real pain in th ebackside and cant take no for an answer or is just making you uneasy or upset as well as harrasing you in any way and can be done from the message one also.
We hope this has helped you and will get you going towards enjoying the site but one thing we will sugest is next time put your question in the forums as a seperate one to one other question being asked.

I have a list of admirers also, I wanted to get rid of them. however the only why to do that is they have to right click your name in there fav people section and your name will disappear.
if they don't know enough to do that, then they block you and don't want you as a fav anymore. i know b.c i politely emailed one man ( from across they country) we had never even exchanged an hello and he was there for over a yr. so i asked him to remove my name. He must not of known how to remove my name so he blocked me and well, now i cant mail and explain to him how to do it. LOL

Thank you everyone for your responses.

Sorry I placed this thread in the improper section at first; thank you mods for fixing it.

I was/am so flattered to be admired by anyone (I know, I'm strange this way) that I wanted to say "thanks" and got confused by the block. When I don't know, I tend to ask questions.

The idea I might be wanker material is sort of flattering again -- I don't think of myself like that at all and I've never been well-trained in how to accept any compliments except on my writing or teaching.

Rambling, rambling.

Another option on why you might be on both lists is something that someone posted as a bug not too long ago: the person noticed that people that he sent initial messages to somehow ended up on his blocked list, even though he did not put them there. At the same time, someone else mentioned that they had found people they had marked as a "favorite" on their "blocked" list ... and they had to go through and correct the problem (sometimes more than once). It could be an accident, it could be that same glitch that caused the other people problems ... so don't assume the worst of people - at least some of them probably don't realize that you are on their blocked list.

No shit; after nearly 10 years in government service, i swear some agencies are designed to fail; like Florida Dept of Human Resources/Division of Child Support, which as of the last time i checked had not collected a penny of child support. Ever.

Regardless of the case I wouldn't take it personally. If you were talking to them for 2 years or something and all of a sudden they blocked you, I'd take it personally but not from random strangers.

I actually had a gentleman from the UK send me a very nice note asking if I was available. I wrote back to him that thank you, but I wasn't. He then asked me to block him so that he wouldn't forget in the future and bother me again. I thought that was nice. So...he became my first blocked admirer.

my spelling sucks...that was the edit

I am so sick of the Admire-Block people that I am getting ready to remove all my pictures. I hate to do it because I like having them up, but I also hate being watched. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but I put it in the same catagory as stalking (I am speaking specifically of people that are listed as living in my area or nearby) and I don't want to have to go through that again.
Or maybe I'll just remove mine and put up the one I have of my partner playing PlayStation naked, that may change some of them
