It's as easy to walk away, as it is to tell, e-mail, or send communication of some sort that you won't be meeting any other kind of obligation. Some people feel compelled if there words are out there, to continue watching. I used to feel this way. I don't anymore. But for others...they feel compelled to continue watching, reading...etc... If the OP is allowed to be like everyone else, them first.... then deleting his own thread, is his right. Why not just accept that, and walk away... why comiserate over it... and continue berating him for it? Tempest's pet jennifer

Because, jennifer, he is being a child. I know your heart is pure and gentle and feels that 'everyone is on ' the OP. But these are one of those times when I feel compelled to respond that its not all about saying 'poor you, all hard done by'... or 'commiserations'.... And this isnt just aimed at the OP - but at the ngeneric 'you' or 'dominant'. Just imagine, being a submissive and having to put up with a dominant like this? Do you think it would be good for a s-type to cope with this type of mental cruelty? If a dominant acts and reacts like this just over one thing, then just how will the dominant react over other more importants and potentially life threatening actions and situations? A dominant should be able to have self control. Without it, how can they expect to control anothers? If a persona does not want a variety of responses then they should not post on the board. We all make mistakes - its the ability to face up to them and hold our hands up when we do that shows wisdom. To not see a possible mistake, or to be unwilling to accept others words shows a lack of wisdom and an inability to learn. And knowledge is exceptionally powerful and important in wiitwd. If someone is not willing to learn from mistakes - to notice them - but just whine when things don't go their way, then this sends out red flags and shows them for what they are. Then there is the obsession. There is an obsession with the girl who didnt show, number one. There is also an obvious obsession with at least one submissive here who has posted the Op, number two. This shows a very unhealthy attitude and a little concerning. The OP may not want their words known and what the whole rant was about, but the whole thread shows something even better than the thread that it was intended to be. It shows young and inexperienced s-types the kind of behaviour to avoid - if they want a healthy and constructive relationship. Its a great 'red flag pointer'. You didn't get a picture of what she looked like before hand? If not shame on you. I am a BBW, I am honest about it and its post like yours that make me want to be honest about it because if I ever agreed to meet someone in person I would hate to think they would make the judgements you did about her appearance. Body language tells alot. When you were together perhaps your body language suggested that you weren't that attracted to her. Maybe your non verbal clues gave you away about the restaurant and all the other things you found negative with the meeting. She might have went away thinking, this wasn't what I expected. Now I am not totally against you. She had the perogative to make the decision to meet you later or not. If she chose not to, she should have at least been coureous enough to leave you a message and tell you why. One of the hardest things is being cut out without an explanation. How can we improve or do anything different about ourselves if we don't know what happened? But I do think she probably reacted to how you acted when you met her so you might want to look at that for the future.

I don't have feeligns one way or another about the OP. I don't know the situation and have no opinion. I -do- have an opinion about the removal of information. Of course it's his right to delete it, and I wouldn't remove that right. However, I find it frustrating because now no one can learn from these experiences, nor even understand what it was about.

This will be my last post to this thread... You all have made good, reasonable responses... that's all I was looking for. Good responses, well thought out posts. Not finger pointing, and tantrum sounding stuff. I don't think anyone learns from that kind of stuff either. At least nothing worth learning. I apologize, for dijointe thoughts, or rambling, typos, and anything else odd.... was in a car wreck, and darvicet kinda makes me goofy...lol... so take care you guys, I'll watch a couple more days and that it for here.
