Ohhhhhh, Wyld, c'mere, dearie, and let me smack ya a good one, if ya talk about "only a Knifty Knitter"..... [sm=spanking.gif] Ya seen what Isela and Ann can do with those? I use them all the time to help me out. I don't mention it much but my hands and arms are trashed from carpal tunnel and tendonitis even though I've had surgery. I can't hold the needles long enough anymore to get anything done. Besides that, the knitting looms have been around for centuries, they've just kind of been forgotten. There are a lot more looms than the KK's - there are oval looms, sock looms, knitting rakes, you name it. There are numerous stitches you can do, there's really no limit. If you're curious, feel free to cmail me on the other side - I'm always glad to share info on them! [:)] As for your beading, it sounds gorgeous.... I love opals. I don't have the patience for it. I'd just slap some beads on wire and say "there - like it or leave it!". As for sewing and quilting, I still do that. I've somehow acquired a number of sewing machines. Poor Lumus wouldn't know what to do if all my machines turned up here. They range from an antique (1872) hand operated machine to a 2007 professional combo sewing/embroidery machine. All told I have 7 machines..... [:-] Yikes!!
