ORIGINAL: fluffypet61 The scarf in the picture is at LionBrand.com. (The pattern is free, but you may have to get a free account and log on to see the pattern.) thanks for that link fluffy, I subscribed now there as well for their patterns. Some weeks ago I subscribed to this one (you might know that already, I suppose), http://www.knittingforcharity.org/ I haven't had the time yet to view it much about how useful it is but so far I just move all their newsletters with patterns into a subsection in my email account, named "knitting", so I know where to find them once I have the time (after 3rd december hopefully as there is my deadline for resubmitting my dissertation). My first project will be my pair of socks as well as "toy food" as I am going to knit and crochet 25 items for my ex for his advents calendar next year (in the past he did throw away the decorative parts which I wanted to keep to reuse or to sell on ebay, after it was finished, and using those it won't cost me a fortune and he is more than welcome to throw them away afterwards ). Therefore I am going to knit and crochet stuff like fruits, sandwiches, cakes, pizza, teapot etc. I think that will help me to improve my knitting and crochetting skills as well as my patience with it, as those items don't have to be "perfect" just good enough to give it to him (will put his lil pressies inside) and also will keep me occupied when my studies are finally over...and as in the past (did his calendars in 2006 and 2007, none in the last 2 years) he will have no idea about my way how it will be presented...
