Here's a good one. One i joke about with Master alot. He jokingly tells me yes. Why should he do it if he has a slave to do it for him?

And ya know, i HAVE noticed alot of Dom's that pretty much sit infront of a computer all day. What in the heck do they do for a living? Something on the computer i assume.. so do they ALL just pretty much sit around and do absolutely nothing?

Think about it. They dont REALLY do anything. Except maybe run their mouths. "do this do that" thats if they arent um too lazy even to do that!

What is it that they are excatly supposed to do again? Direct traffic? Spend the money?

gawd i want slaves, cos i KNOW i can direct traffic and spend money.

My mate and I work full time and attend school in the evenings. We also raise a 14 year old unmentionable, and co-raise three more. In addition, I teach at seminary one night a week, and lead two fellowship services a month, as well as providing pastoral care and chaplaincy services as needed for the community.

No, I'm not a great housekeeper. I am, however, a pretty doggone good cook. I may take a morning or an evening off from cooking while our servant is in house -- then again, I may not. We truly need our servant. This is good for her, as much as it is good for us. She has told us how much it means to us that we truly need her. I can't begin to express how wonderful it is to have her, and to care for her needs, and to let her know that she is owned, and that we cherish ownership of her, and consider her valuable and with incredible potential.

Pick and choose wisely -- and for those who desire to be in service, perhaps a master who doesn't thrive on housework is just what makes that servant tick!

I may not be able to speak for all Masters here, but I am self-employed, and often quite busy. In fact, it becomes a chore to even set aside the time to have a submissive see me. Master doesn't equal voluptuous laziness in my particular corner of the world, at least.

My dom is self-employed as well and while he is sometimes home for days at a time, he is also the one paying the mortgage and inviting me to live in his home. How could a girl possibly complain about having him available for snuggling and talking?

greetings, riot girl
i'm ,not being critical
,and ,i think you're fed up ,and, have a wonderful name,
of
fire ;intelligence,and, spirit,
,but, i have ,to say:i'm ,very ,upset, if i have ,nothing ,to give,or my top,or my dom cant laze ,around ,and ,bask, if they want,to....
i ,too ,often found ,nothing is good ,enuff, to give, to a top worth, so much...,above all the rest...how do you express, that?
real tops work their azzzez, off ,and, if they relax, and, enjoy
whats the problem ?please do!
i have, to say a "brain "is a terrible thing ,to waste,
to improove a situation is what it's all, about;
isnt it?
i see very few dumb tops ,or i can't respect an igno.,either,
maybe,
a one nighter, tho...
tops are ,as exploited ,as bottoms,
but ,hopefully
like attracts like ....
even a dumb regular shmoe can't get ,off ,on it
like a slave does ,
when a "real-top"
enjoys all the monies a slave wants ,to give, and ,makes,
just, to see their dom. very free, and, happy....
every girl ,at least has, to feel:
safe; secure ;and, happy, before
they can even orgasm;
a guy can't come worrying ,either!
it's no different, than any relationship.
you want your, other , to have it all :
the sun; moon ;and, stars ,or what's the g.d.point ?
you don't have ,enuff ,so you're stupid,or you don't want ,to give,to your most signifigant ,other;
you think you can take it ,with you ?
you die;all you take is love ,that's it ,not your stuff...
ya ,at the computer all day- takes brains-
best time ,for a slave ,to have sex ,with their top ,too...
i hate ,to depend, on ,just anyone who enjoys taking it all, from a known slave ,that they have no real claims ,to....,
if you think a slave gives it all, to a dumb-igno.; watch how fast a rug walks!

It's funny, my last sub said that the reason she was a sub was because she was lazy. Wanted me to plan things, decide things, tell her what to do and use her however I wanted. I suppose it's all a matter of perspective :)

Well, I will tell you what .... There is something to say (or rather nothing to say) about a dominant person who is not willing to help out around the house simply because he/she works a full time job and owns a slave. That doesn't fly with me. There is no excuse for not picking up after yourself. (empty cans in the recycle bin, garbage in the trash can, dirty clothes in the laundry basket, etc)

I can't speak for others and I'm a Dom not a Master, but I work part-time as a home builder in the summer. I drive a snowplow in the winter and I spend a significant portion of time playing grandpa or going flying when I can. I also make beds, wash dishes, clean house and do laundry since my wife still works full-time. My computer time is limited and I don't think of myself as lazy. I DO however enjoy having someone wait on me and do things for me......

Mostly I work from home. This does mean them I spend days on the computer often 18 to 36 hours at a time when I'm busy. I manage to find the time away from the beast to help with the house work (Neets works partime). However my being chained to the puter is more by necessity of having very limited mobility than by choice.....

Was having coffee at a coffey shop last week with a friend and his kajira. Some interfering sod came over after watching the trik serving both of us (from her knees of course) and asked what our last slave died of, and what made us so great that we needed a girl to run about and serve us and why she served on her knees. The busybody was told in no uncertain terms that the girl is a slave, I had released my last slave and was looking for another one and was this woman looking to fill my slave collar and that she should be where she belonged.. on her knees.. Woman backed off with much opening and closing of her pie hole with no sound comming out......

My Master works all day long, then teaches taekwondo 3 nights a week, and on the weekends he gets to relax by working with me on one of my various projects i have going, or by straightening up the accoutnts to our business.

I'll probably regret posting to this, but oh well...

First, does Master=lazy? Sure, there are some lazy people out there, but it's hardly an affliction that is restricted to dominants. I can think of several slaves that seem to do nothing other than spend their time online. Maybe they are exceedingly good at time management...who knows?

I guess the issue I have with your observations is that it seems you want to see Masters doing things. Ok. Like what, for instance? Bake a cake? Mow the lawn? Knit a tea cozy? Is the Master supposed to be doing things for the slave's entertainment? Why is the slave in the relationship, if not to serve the Master? Why would the slave want to control the Master's actions by suggesting what the Master "should" be doing with their time and/or their money?

Master works 47 hours per week as a service manager for an auto repair center. He also has a start up business that he is working on. He frequently will do repairs for our friends in the community that cannot afford to bring their car to a garage. He volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. He volunteers to to lectures on drug abuse. Hell, he'll even cook (world's best chili) or do a load of laundry.

The group of our friends are executives, business owners, doctors and lawyers. I have seen some lazy Doms, but they're not the people that are within our circle of friends. It seems to be pretty rare here in Southern California. But, that may be simply that the cost of living is very difficult on one income.

You have no idea how much effort it takes for us Doms to decide on a submissive's
tasks each day. Geez, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. Just try being me for a day, I garauntee that by the end of it that you'd be begging for a spanking and the slave status name plate back on your desk.

But what the heck, someone has to do it and it just comes natural to me!

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Well alittle background as to why i came out with M = Lazy.

Becaaaaaaaause when you ARE the one paying the bills and working

AND the one expected to do ALL the cleaning

and um the cooking too.

Tho i suppose its a damn good thing i've enough balls to look at so called ppl and tell them they are OUT to lunch. <grins> And then have little fun fests where you look at them and joke about how darn lazy they are!

Which is funny as i dont REALLY mind doing it. As i've said in the past, its about principal.

As for YOU Mr Thorns. Who am i to say anything at all. Yes i agree. Its not my place. i have no right. i should just shut up, do as i'm told when its time to pay the bills, scramble to pay the bills, i should clean the house, i should work a 50 hour work week and be happy as a clam to make any Masters life as happy as possible so they can sit on the damn computer all day and do absolutely nothing. What do i want them to do? How about something good old fashioned like, Something with their lives instead of watching it waste away on the computer.

Yes i like to serve. That is our place. But really there is just something not-so-right about doing things for some one who cant do it themselves.

<grins> And as i've had this convo with Master a million times AND threatened to post this on collarme = ) He keeps telling me Master equals lazy and he DOES do something. He keeps me emotionally stable and that takes ALOT of energy.

All joking aside, are we in unision Does Master equal Lazy? Or does it Not?

I wasn't going to add anything, but just now changed my mind. Does Master=Lazy? I've only been in the life for a little while. I have yet to meet or talk to any Master/Mistress/Dom/me who I would call "lazy." They all seem to be living full lives. Working, participating in the community, raising families, spending time with partners, etc...So, from what I've seen and IMHO, no, Master does not=Lazy...however, perhaps for your Master, it does. And that seems very sad to me, indeed.

Take care,

gina

Whoa, lazy Master? That would never work for me. I hold high regard for the entire work ethic thing. One of the first questions I always ask is about their line of work. I sit in front of a computer all day, and I'm always playing on-line. That doesn't mean my work doesn't get done. I rush through it so I can enjoy playing.

Look darlin (yeah you can shoot me for using that but it is used affectionately), I'm the laziest sod about and I'm a Master! Do you have any idea just how much energy it takes to carry the Master licence plate around? All jokes aside, I just hope that my next girl will be a spirited as you.

Oh, there are definately lazy folks in the world, but I don't think it is seen more on one side of the slash than the other <g>. As for my owner, lazy is *not* a term that I can imagine anyone applying to him...lol.

best regards,

i have to admit my first reaction was that your master had to be my ex-husband, but then thought that wasn't very nice....lol.

But mainly i think it's a generalization that's not at all fair. i'm sure there are as many lazy subs as there are doms, and just as many who aren't. There was a time in my life when i'd spend 7-8 hours a day on-line and 40 hours a week working a full time job, and 20 hours working part time, with whatever was left over devoted to sleep, laundry, cleaning the house, etc. my time on line saved my sanity, and filed those hours with laughter and insight that i wouldn't have had otherwise. i have also made some terrific friends that enrich my life a hundred fold.

Thanks for giving me a trip down memory lane.. was exactly what i needed :)

cheers
jimini
