Status: offline 		I worked cook and counter in one in 1979.

They dip it once in batter, then bread it in flour.. batter dip it again, and rebread it. It makes lumps in the flour. It also made a mess that we had to sift out of the flour after every batch.

Status: offline 		supposedly that's an urban legend, but I have never been able to eat KFC since I heard that, and it was a looooong time ago.  for some reason I just get a picture in my head ...and the words "rat tender" keep popping up too...

Status: offline 		Nothing wrong with some nice tender rack of young rat - perfectly nutritious. I prefer them raw myself, fresh off the sewer, but I hear they're nice bathed in msg too  .

I remember when McD's was supposed to be serving worms in their meat. Not sure why they would have, but it stopped a lot of people from eating there for a while.

Status: offline 		The worms rumors have hit almost every fast food chain, I remember the same rumors about Jack in the box... I think the target of the rumors were pretty much regional as well.  I hadn't heard the McD rumors until I traveled out of the Midwest.
