Well now I'd agree if this was the first time having offended these particular people, but if you break someone's window, to use his analogy, say your sorry then continue to break it an then offer to repair it, over and over and over and over again, with the exact same type of behavior or thoughtlessness that broke it in the first place, and they get tired of it, that's a very justifiable reaction to ban someone, or to personally shun them.
