l read so much of other peoples journals...the anger..the frustration...the disappointment...the emotional issues..you must be this..must be that..l mean what the f**k is financial domination all about...why would you want other peoples money..go earn it ya self....perhaps its me..perhaps l expect so little from people..all l want is to.....emmmmmmmmmmm shit forgot what it is l want out of all this...

Sounds like you have some seriious issues. If all this pent up anger is due to inexperience which I think it may be judging by your comments on Financial Domination, I suggest that you have a good read on the boards and saee what gels for you. It's not worth getting an ulcer about or otherwise making youself sick.. Just chill out and enjoy the forums.

Welcome to the boards.

A propensity toward the umbrella acronym of "BDSM" is kind of an erotic drive, I think, primarily. What it is that we do consists of so many variable, inconsistent, differing activities and mindsets while doing them that it's difficult to find a way to lump it all together under just "BDSM" anymore.

Anyway, yeah. There is a lot of frustration, negative emotion, confusion, intensity, hope, and joy expressed in the various member journals on the CM site. Emotions run the gamut here from what I've noticed. I've often wondered why that is myself. Is it possible that those of us who are into what we're into are more passionate in general overall? Do we require more intensity within our "unions" as opposed to our nilla counterparts?

Personally, I like the thrill, the increased eroticism, the stigma, the different kind of intimacy present in actual power exchange, the kink, and most of all the challenge of authentic submission itself. That's why I'm here.

Financial domination doesn't interest me particularly but I think there's a little something here for everyone on this site. What I tend to see the most here (and perhaps its just due to my usually positive outlook) is hope, though some exhibit disillusioned dashed hope, unfortunately. Most are either after that elusive "one" or have already found him or her and are hoping to hang onto em. Some have lost "the one," and some aren't content with just one and are searching for their ones, twos, or threes! lol. Some just want to get a piece of the action. It's all good as far as I'm concerned and rarely do I find any of it boring.

I agree with you that financial domination is something that I would not do. I can see a master managing all the money if the slave lives with him, but that is a different situation. It is one of sharing obligations and the master leads.

However, when you control the finances of a submissive that you don't live with and don't share obligations with, you are into a situation that leads to abuse. You end up using her money for yourself...stealing. If the sub is into having her money used by others, that is one desire she won’t be able to fulfill for long unless it is someone using her pennies that she collects from the street.

I guess it takes many wheels to make the world go around and better to be constructive. I'll leave it at that before I get myself into trouble....and financial domination is just an extension of 24/7 domination for some people.....be wary of mocking what you cannot comprehend.

perhaps you need to read further and read the boards. many are not angry, frustrated (well, sometimes) and disappointments pass fairly quickly. when you find someone you click with, are meant to be with, it all falls into place. it still involves sacrifice, comprimise, and most emotions under the sun, but it can work. as to those who want money, not a good place to go (having been there). keep looking, and with time (and it will take time), there is every hope under the sun and moon that you will find what you seek. in the meanwhile. find peace inside yourself. it's worth a heck of a lot more than gold or any potential relationship you may find. find joys in the "little things" as well. expect little and celebrate the heck out of things you find. love yourself and all else will follow. i wish you well.

For me, I wouldn't do Financial Domination. First I have been in a situation where I have had to ask for money from someone, to be questioned what I was going to do with it, show proof of what I bought and how much it was. I didn't like the feeling. Second, I have a fear that something might happen and what if you part ways? I like feeling secure and part of that security comes from having my own money and handling it.

The only financial domination I would become involved in is the control of monies earned by a kajira in my collar. however I've posted on this on a number of threads in the past both here and in the Gorean Forum as...... 'nuff said.
