Status: offline 		Today after finding a certian hard to find shaving strop for my play partner as I was told to do on Sunday..I got this very warm feeling all over when he told me good job. It was not hard at all.. All I did was look online, but when he told me good girl and how happy he was with me it felt like I was just gave a gold ring. I couldn't have been happier! Made me want to ask..what else may I do for you Sir.

What are some small things you have done that bring you a great deal of pleasure?

For SJ's birthday in May, I ordered his favorite candy bar which he hadn't had since he lived in Europe in his teens.

He had mentioned it once in passing and I was thrilled to be able to get it for him.  It arrived on his birthday and he fed me a piece by hand.  Double pleasure!

Status: offline 		I get an enormous amount of enjoyment out of learning video games, to impress the boys.  It isnt quite the same, but with them as they are, it means a lot to both that I am making the obvious effort to do something to give us something to do together. I like to prove every now and again that even if I am the Owner it isnt ALL about me.
They dont tend to let me win either, or at least Fox doesnt. Angel does and then gets al huffy about losing. Its quite cute.

Status: offline 		It's lots of everyday things that i could hardly put in a list as something special. Special is how they are being done, and with how much care and submission. :)
And YES, i felt excited on each "good boy" i got.

Status: offline 		For me, service is a pleasure of its own. That service can be anything from refilling my Master's glass, to drying Him off after a shower or giving a massage. One of my tasks is to remind Him of things and keep Him informed; for example, we will be attending an event in a few months and i am to keep track of the details so that He doesn't need to.  Forwarding an email is a very small task, taking seconds, but i feel good when i have done so.

i get as much of a thrill over the little things as i do over the more difficult tasks. And the pat on the head or the kiss He rewards me with make me want to do more.

One time recently it was murmuring a simple "oh, batteries?" to Daddy while at the store with his um since the um needed them for his favourite toy. Daddy had totally forgotten and my reminder pleased Daddy. (And made a very happy little guy as well!)

Status: offline 		Yesterday while i was at the supermarket doing my shopping.  Iwent down by the cookies and i was looking for a certain kind that Master likes.  I did not find that one but ,i found a similar one,  that i think Master liked even more.  He enjoyed them and even gave me one to eat.  I love doing litle things like that  for him.

Status: offline 		I would have his clothes and slippers layed out when he came in from work so he could get comfortable....

It wasn't asked of me....just a small way to make his world an easier place....and that gave me pleasure.

I think they get as much if not more of a buzz from us doing and remembering the little things ... especially doing so without being told ... and giving them that extra glow ... comes back two-fold

Status: offline 		I managed to find a hat similar to what Santa wanted and got it for his birthday. It wasn't exactly what he wanted but was closer than anything else he's found. Gave me a nice feeling for well over a month now.

Just love the smile on His face when i automatically open His cigarette packet after i've been to the shop.. Just so He doesn't have to.
Even better when its something He didn't actually expect.. You're right, its the pride they take in the fact that sometimes we just don't need telling!

Status: offline 		I get lots of pleasure from doing little niceties for Him all the time.  From fixing His favorite foods to the pleasing way in which I serve them to selecting good new books for Him to read from the library system where I work and on and on and on.  But, what I remember Him enjoying immensely was before we could actually live together.  We were together over a year before we lived together and it used to make me feel closer to Him to mail Him surprises.  I used to order Him various movies on DVD, music CD's and books that He had mentioned really liking and have the discs/books arrive in the mail and surprise Him.  It really impressed Him that I'd paid such close attention to everything He'd mentioned.  He'd say something about a song by a certain artist He remembered loving and it would just be said in passing.  Afterward, I'd do some online research, find it, order it and send it to Him as a surprise.  I was always surprising Him with things like that and He never failed to be pleased and impressed............luci

Status: offline 		I just remembered one I used to do for a dom a long time ago.

He had commented once that he'd had lunch with a woman at CiCi's one afternoon and it surprised him (after all her bragging about being an attentive and devoted slave) that she allowed his drink to become empty and simply left it that way even after he gave her the not so subtle hint of picking up the empty glass and setting it down in front of her. He also had this thing about ice in his drink. He did NOT ever want any.

So, during our entire relationship, not only did he never have an empty glass ... If I made the drink, he never had ice. Sometimes he'd get this grin when he'd notice me doing that because it wasn't something he had ever told me to do. I just never forgot that conversation.

I find that my entire life brings me the sense of pleasure that the OP is speaking of (not just doing the "small things" for my Master).  I get a deep sense of accomplishment and "right", even when something he asks is difficult for me (like getting up early to tend to responsibilities, when (for whatever reason or other) I've had little sleep).

I know that my Master is content with the fact I serve him, so I don't tend to be hanging out for that "good girl" praise and whatever else.  I find enough "reinforcement" in our various interractions to not worry about being praised for every little thing i do.  If he chooses to praise me, he does so, if not, then my whole world won't fall apart.  I know I still hold value to him.
