I am going to take a wild guess and think that the tollerance level for neediness by be tempered by the dominants need for a blowjob.

I would have to ask Ron to be certain though....

One would think so. But, apparently there are some pretty tollerant dominants out there because there are alot of needy slaves/submissives that keep getting collared.

I think one of the reasons for quick collarings is because the dominant doesn't want to lose his toy.  He knws she may easily be swayed by others or soon understand his line of bs, so he collars in an effort to keep the sex.

Katy, that is exactly my thought on it. No consideration of what their responsibility to the one wearing the collar, just a marking of ownership to keep others at bay. If the slave/sub is not going to hold the dominant/master/mistress accountable for that responsibility and just accept and assume, then neither one is taking it seriously.

I think you are making an incorrect assumption that the dominants are any more sane than those insanely needy submissives. I believe it is more likely that the codependent wackos find each other so those with insane needs for collars are compatible with those with insane needs for blowjobs.

neediness implies having a need thats "out of control" so to speak - or we would call it a need don't you think?  That's why i find neediness in a dominant so distasteful.  

There are many circumstance that can bring a person from having a need to neediness - temporary neediness - ie:  Dom/sub was cheated on, they want to trust again.  It's when you can't get past whats making you needy that's the real problem. You need to recognize it and work to move past it, not allowing yourself to get stuck. Stuck people end up as needy people.  They think others can pull them free from the mire. Until they realize only they can do that for themselves, they will forever be stuck and needy.
