Actually, the news said he asked for Gwatney before killing him. He didn't just shoot everything in sight. He wanted this man dead. It wasn't a case of just going on a shooting spree to defend his right to bear arms. The investigation as to why he targeted Gwatney is still going on.
I find it funny that some jumped to a political conclusion with little to no evidence. We are such an open minded bunch.

Yup. And it seems the cops found a sticky note in his apartment with Gwatney's name on it, along with several other "hunting" assault weapons. Whatever the guys motives were, it wasn't just a random shooting. What pissed me off this afternoon, was the frickin' local news station cut off Governor Beebe, who looked like he was about to break down, as he was talking about Gwatney. Just so they could go back to a frickin' soap opera!

Totally disrespectful.
