this time is is "cloned" bathing suits.  next time it is genetic enhanced designer playas.

i felt bad when Canada had their guy banned per dope one time.  the victories mean nothing if he is doped.  and if he is in reenforces the win at all costs- bend the rules the Americans have come to be suspected of.

There has been no suspicion of Phelps or any of the other swimmers, for any countries, being doped.  Phelps does not reinforce the win at all costs, bend the rules of anything mentality. He reinforces the work your friggin' ass off, be smart and be blessed with talent mentality.

Actually, Phelps submits himself to the most invasive testing out there, including being tested after each and every event.  He even has them storing his blood so that if new tests come out they can test it with those.

Speaking as a swimmer and one who is training a future swimmer , he WON ! touchpads don't lie . And as far as him  taking dope i can not see that either his mom would be heart broken and coach would not allow it .If you can train with bowman you don't need roids your in shape mentally and physically .Team USA rocks !

How can anyone possibly win eight gold medals for swimming?  Isn't it all much of  a muchness?  Wouldn't it be better just to have everyone dive in the pool, swim up and down for a bit, and give the medal to whoever looks best?  That's basically what they do in the diving.

To make swimming more compelling, they need to make 3 improvements.
1.  Make everyone swim naked.  Obviously.
2.  Get rid of the silly little lane dividers.  Let's turn it into a contact sport.
3.  Before the start, drain all the water out of the pool.  That way we can see what's going on.

Now you have a sport.
