I have to wonder if people starting missing "the good old days" when publication of BDSM magazines (and the lonely hearts ads within) became legal.

In my opinion though, it's pretty pathetic when people judge character by their "member since" date. You must also keep in mind the people who are extremely closted in their kink, are homebodies who don't like going to parties and gatherings, or simply do not like their local community. These are the people who websites like this were made for.

I also have to wonder though, if you're so against it then why are you here? Go to your fancy masked ball and leave us alone :D

If people like myself and all the other people who lived what we term as "the good old days (and no its not from dukes of hazard)" hadnt used the internet, where would everyone else have got their knowledge from!

Master Gio

I think that statement would hold more weight if it came from someone in the 60s or 70s but really someone in their 30s?

Chances are that everyone would get their knowledge from the same place that most do now, from personal experience. The fact that you think you have lived some "good old days" means nothing to me. You are a name on the net and could be some 15year old spotty teenager for all I know. A reason why I take note of personal experience and not some unverified posting from someone I do not know from Adam.

Which is entirly my point of the whole article.

Master Gio

P.S. I'm nearly in my 40's so do I score half marks!

From what I have seen so far you would score no marks at all with me.

I cant read this, looks like a pile of poo to me, blah blah blah. What is with outing people in your profile though OP? I thought that was not cool to do here? Fakes and Dreamers? Puhlease. You remind me of one of those young people who takes on a very stern personna, all defensive, and I find it funny. By the way what is wrong with being a Dreamer anyway?

There is nothing wrong with it if your not leading people up the garden path and trying to con them. Why pretend to be someone that your not and someone looking for something that your not and mislead people.

Its amazing how when someone suggest the internet isnt as good as real life, people start to get aggresive and attack! Its also interesting to see how one person mentioned my slaves age as being 30 and not possibly able to have been around in the scene in mid 80s and everyone jumps on the bandwagon, but as another poster (see page 1) pointed out the facts that the post was written by me a male in his mid to late 30's and was speaking for 2 people.

I would be interested to know how many people who have done the attacking and insulting would be so brave if they werent behind the computer.

The facts are that this web site's TOS does not allow blacklists under any such 'freedom of speech' clause...that was a lie, and an easily disproven one.

The reason we posted the article before we got suspended for doing so was to open up this subject as most people in the lifestyle have a say or view on it.

The claim of being suspended from this site for posting an 'article', when your posts kept showing up without the standard [Awaiting Approval] moderation indicator, would be the first one I've ever heard of... that is very likely a lie.

The 'I was so special that I was invited to masked balls as a child, and you've never been to one'  is just plain posturing, like a hundred who have come through here before you.

Add to that the claims that having BS called on things that are insulting the intelligence of everyone else, is 'rude' and you have a pretty complete picture.

The article wasn't supposed to score me points with anyone, and I would imagine you're not alone but each to their own as we all have our own opinions.

Since when does freedom of speech come with restrictions!
My list is not a blacklist, it is a list of people who I have come across who arent what they say they are, simple as that. I have not reported any of their profiles as they are entitled to use this site just as much as you and I.

Check the dates from the lasts posting, you will see I am making up for lost time where the profile was suspended for 24hours, if you dont believe me feel free to contact collarme.

So does the fact you have posted 5245 times mean that you are so wise and that anyone who comes on here and explains some of his lifestyle is posturing, please listen to yourself.

You think that im just going to let personal insults go by without replying, wrong. I am limiting my replies to those who feel they can insult me without knowing me and think its acceptable behaviour.

Wait... are you saying you're all offended because your account was pulled for a day?? Do you have any idea how often that happens? Usually it's just people flagging your profile, you aren't some saint-worthy bdsm martyr. Also... how exactly do you prove people are fakes? Do you go visit them all- or is everyone who shows no interest in you a fake?

I find that anyone that slanders another person on a profile is childish, not a protective service to other real lifestyler's.  Your opinion is your own and I can respect that, but when your opinion includes putting names of others on your profile because you decide they are less than for real, you come off looking bad.  That is as bad as whining and complaining about what goes on online.

Who put you in charge of protecting the other real's and who voted you in as one with the ability to determine who is not for real?  We all misunderstand you... you are providing a needed service and we are wrong to call you on breaking the rules by which you so dearly hang your old time hat and experience.  Very interesting.

Why don't we make a deal... you play nice and don't list your opinion of fakes on your profile, stop treating us as if we need you protecting us and we all play nice?

Nope I dont smell burning martyr here. I was the first time it has happened to us so a bit of a shock but there you go, lesson learnt.

No we have learnt by bitter experience about who is fake and who is not, having taken time of work, wasted phone calls, fake pictures being sent which are clearly doctored and 2 owning up saying they are men just looking for pics to throw themselves around.
As with most things in life we learn the hard way, but we learn and thus knowledge is gained. So we post the names on our profile to help prevent others going through the same as us.

Ahhh, there we go. Good to know there's a night in shining armor out there, protecting all of us poor idiots from the fakers on the internet.

http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=1163969

I know personally I've seen myself on two "FAKERS!!11" lists. One person is quite sure I'm a male- another is pissy because I wouldn't go to his house.

How about no. The list is there as mentioned before to help prevent others from wasting their time looking for something which these people clearly arent, we are not forcing anyone to read our profile or take heed of it.

Whilst im glad you accept my opinion but probably dont agree with one bit of it, and likewise I have tried to reply to everyone who has posted valued comments even if I dont agree with their opinion, the subject matter that I posted was for discussion, not my profile. The profile of incantatrice was not the subject, and is not the subject matter. Just like the subject matter, if you dont like what you see then feel free to move on and not tell us what should and shuldnt be on OUR profile.

with all the negative attention you are bringing yourself, my guess is CollarMe is going to be telling you what should and shouldn't be on your profile pretty soon.
