Having dirty intentions is not a crime.

Yes, he DID have kiddie porn on his computer, but did they have probable cause to search it?

I bet a good lawyer gets him off.  (Although a good slave could as well...)

Status: offline 		The island isn't a bad idea at all. Especially if you can snag something overlooked in international waters. Then manipulate a smaller government in the UN into acknowledging you as a power. Though I'd probably dedicate most of the island to being a research and data haven. Offshore banking anyone? $$$$$. Very few restrictions on research, etc.

Bdsm playland could be a smaller rec area of the island :D

Simple answer No,despite whatever you might have been told(just try not to be grabbed in a war zone and classified an enemy combatant ,and you should be okay)

Status: offline 		The thought of being a sex slave on an island is very appealing to me.  However, when it comes to endangerment to children, I feel this man should be sentenced to the maximum time allowed by the state!  I used to work for probation and parole and would hear horror stories about children being sexually abused.  This is enough to just make me angry at pedophiles!

The question here is did you ever hear the horror stories about what happens to guys in jail that landed there for doing that sort of thing?    My police sergeant uncle was giving me all the juicy tidbits.  Apparently they break out your teeth first week in so you can't bite down on whatever they put in your mouth.

Fuckers get what they deserve.  I think a lifetime of being Bubba's bitch is far more appropriate punishment than a needle stick and drifting off to sleep.

All true Pyrrsefanie,but not necessarily all good.While in Bergin County Jail(a complete misunderstanding during my wild youthful days,having to do with distributing narcotics with out the proper licence at a rock concert)I witnessed first hand some of this "prisoner justice"meted out on an unfortunate.
   How it happened was one of the guards came in to the dorm like wing (40 prisoners)and called over one of the units veterans,meanwhile I approached asking about a phone call.I was told to go sit on my bunk and mind my own business,while doing so I noticed the prisoner the gaurd had talked too gathered with some other guys...and they started wrapping their hands up....at this point a kindly car thief explained to me they were bringing in a child molester and no matter what don't leave my bunk.Well they gave this man a halacious beating up to and including fracturing his head against the concrete floor....all the time the gaurds watched...than they caame in commented on the mans slip in the shower and dragged his carcass out of their...I have no idea of the severity or the permanance of the damage
  Now here is the rub,I was sitting in there accused of dealing drugs,how do I know this man wasn't also accused of child molestation.Prison justice is often short on due process. When we as society celebrate prison justice we might as well lock all those doors because no one is coming out fit for society...including the innocent that might get caught in the switches...just some food for thought

Oh believe me, I've thought about it.  I'm big on vigilante justice and I advocate slow and painful torture rather than the death penalty for the really bad ones.  But then again I'm the kind of person who would rather have a few innocents caught up in the crossfire and ensure that no pedophiles or murderers stay on the street, as opposed to making sure no innocents get accused but letting Johnny McRapist run free. 

It's a highly unpopular viewpoint, but then again... when you don't feel the same emotions or process information the same as everyone else, it's easy to feel the way I do.

Besides, I was under the impression that just claiming "rape" didn't necessarily get them arrested, there had to be some sort of proof before they actually got put into a jail cell -- i.e. a rape kit coming back positive for semen which is then matched to the DNA of whatever scumbag it is who did the deed.  Otherwise my piece of shit father would have been arrested and prisonbitched on the spot.

Mmm.  Back then it'd be much more likely than it is today, so I would admit to being able to stir up some benefit of the doubt without hard science backing it up.

Nowadays though... thankfully we have a much better chance of putting the dirtbags where they belong.  Bless technology.
