My heart goes out to you completely. Sometimes things happen that we do not have control over. Maybe you did all you could, maybe she did too. Maybe outside influences played a part, we really don't know. But I will give you what you have requested, I will pray that the pain you feel right now will lessen with each passing day. That you will find the peace that allows you to get up in the morning and to move one foot at a time to wards the new day.
I hope that you will find the answers to all of your questions, and that you accept them when they are presented to you. Keep taking breaths and find a reason to get up each day, it is important that you do that.

I have to remind myself each day to do the same thing.

Let's assume there is a God here to pray to. You clearly believe there is.

To use an example. I have a friend..she is extremely overweight. Shorter than I am...I'd say around 5'6..and I know she is over 300 pounds. When she failed to lose the weight...like the 5th or 6th time. She did lose on some occassions...hundreds of pounds only to put it back on. Anyway the last time. She told me...if it were God's will he would take the weight off of her. God's will.
How ludicrous does that sound to you?
The one thing we all learn about God is he gives us the power and it is up to us to use the power to better ourselves and our situations. Would God want her to leave it all in his hands? Would he take the weight off of her without her lifting a finger?

You are asking for the same thing here. Pray to God to bring her back. I don't want to do any work.

God will help you if you help yourself. People here have given you sound advice. Use it..otherwise she will be lost forever. You've both done something wrong here. Talk to her, communicate. Work on yourself and work on your relationship. If you want her in your life you will change. It will be important enough for you to do so. If not and you are lazy well you already know what is going to happen in that circumstance.
People generally don't change. So, you're both going to have to want it. She apparently loved you once, she may be able to love you once more. Though, she has those answers. We don't. We have no idea why she left...you have those answers as well.
God is not going to do all of your work for you even if you have 10 million people praying for you. He would say..do it yourself you have the ability.

Not to sound callous, but it's possible that her leaving was the answer to someone else's prayer?

Pray for the strength to get through a troubled time, pray that both of you find happiness in whatever way is the best for both of you, and trust that the higher power that you pray to knows what's best.
