Oh shit, yeah, I remember seeing that on some ESPN documentary a couple months.  I'm all for blood sports and gore but that's... no fun when it's actually life-threatening.  Thank God the coach was around, I think they said he was a field medic in 'Nam or something?

Doubly "poor guy" when you realize he's probably going to look like The Kurgan for the rest of his life now too with that wicked scar.

Whoa!  The ENFORCER has arrived. :-)

I said "hockey pool", not that there would be hockey.  In colloquial settings, the phrase "hockey pool" is a euphemism for "betting pool".  In some pools, people bet money, however, in more friendly pools money isn't involved and the participants simply bet to predict the outcome.  The winner is the person (or persons) who is/are closest to the actual outcome.  In friendly pools, sometimes the pool members take the winner out to dinner or something like this.  It's this "friendly" type of pool that I was trying to start here.

The thread may have more accurately been called "Mel's Ass Plundering Pool" or something like this.  I wanted to maintain a more cosmopolitan tone (at least in the title) and this is why I chose "Hockey Pool" instead. :-)

I don't mean an actual hockey puck.  Rather, the puck is likely to be a strap-on, tongue, fingers, or a fist.  The idea is to guess the puck used and the depth that it penetrates the "goal".

I think you misunderstood this thread mal.  I'm not making fun of you.  Rather, I'm cheering you on and I'm glad you and your mistress are having fun.  I'm sorry if you thought this was a nasty jab at you.  Please read the OP again and you'll see that this isn't meant to be nasty.

You asked about my screen name.  The noun "elan" means someone having enthusiasm and liveliness, and possessing passion and a distinctive style.  Therefore, my entire handle (ElanSubdued) means "enthusiasm and passion subdued".  My use of the word subdued is a play on words because I am a submissive who wishes to be subdued by a domina.  Likewise, wordsmithing is a hobby of mine and thus my handle is a hint at this.
