Some submissives pull the same crap, I will give you that one.   However, there appears to be an abundance of people under the DOM orientation label that are pulling this crap constantly.   I would go out on a limb and dare make the remark, that I believe more DOMs compared to submissives are guilty of this madness.

Just because of the nature of D/s dynamics and those who abuse often seek it out using power of some form.   Hence why some pretty fucked up people that pull these games are on the D side of the coin.

So with that said, yes.   I tend to believe that it's more linked to D types compared to s types, due to the very nature of power abuse.   I could not give you an honest ratio of D to s on this matter.   One would have to actually conduct research into this and compile some stats.  Even statistics can be manipulated in favor and a certain amount of bias.   Why it's best for seperate research teams to gather and collect such information.

Again back to the very nature of Power and it's abuse.  I think this should be a bit of a common sense foundation to a logical reasoning.  Combined with the number of horror stories that are often posted on the message board.   Personally, in the last few years on being on this message board, I can honestly say.  I have read more horror stories about DOMs compared to submissives.  Another factor, that supports my reasoning.

If you think because I am expressing myself out of anger that I'm devoid and null of any reasoning or logic, sorry... hate to bust the bubble here.  Some people make the mistake and assume that I don't use logic or reasoning when I am heated about something.  

I'm one of those strange emotional, passionate yet logical bastards that tends to confuse people at times.  

Yes, I when I'm pissed, I tend to show a very sadistic warped sense of humor about things.  Even might make remarks about chopping somebody up into a million pieces and feeding them to their dog.  Having their dog shit them out the ass.
Then taking the popper scooper and tossing them into flower garden.  Sit back and watch something beautiful grow from their bullshit. (do you see the logic in these twisted comments even?)

OMG, you mean you don't realize who I am?  I've been posting on here for a few years.  Yes, my profile is not active for the moment.  Sure sure, pull out the he does not have an active profile card and play it.  What the hell would my profile really tell you about me as a whole person anyways?   Some people have profiles full of bullshit and lies anyways.  Like having a profile or not makes me any less or more legit for the expression of thoughts, feelings, emotions and my opinion.

Maybe I am just slow to anger but it would take a lot more than experiencing or hearing about some asshole Doms to even come up with that kind of punishment in my mind let alone describe it in such detail.

To each their own, we all need to rant.  But I still say a sub should not be and should not think she has to be so stupid or so controlled she can't put her kids welfare before that of her so called Dom.  D/s or being in the "lifestyle" is not an excuse for either side in situations like this, in my opinion.

I hold the submissive according to the same standards when it comes to this BS.   In fact back a few weeks ago, I expressed my thoughts very well to a friend. That I was loosing respect for her.  This is somebody I have known for a year and a half.   There is no excuse for this, in my book.

I believe the submissives are guilty for playing along on some matters.   In terms of crazy stalkers, they don't seem to understand the fact that somebody is not playing along or is no longer playing along.

I have seen some pretty wild posts on the message boards.  One of the classics that has stuck in my mind was a post from a submissive asking for advice.  In short, her master wanted her to fuck herself with Barbwire on cam.  If she did not, he was going to release her ass.  Anyways, she came on the message board here asking for advice.   Basically she did not want to fuck herself with barbwire and she did not want to get released either.  Dugh!  Some people seem or appear to be missing a few brain cells of common sense. 

At least she come to here to ask for advice, what is sad is that she had to come to ask for advice on such an obvious common sense issue.  What's sick is the Dom/Master behind the scenes that was wanting her to do just this.   Now, as I have expressed in my OP.   I have reached a Point that I no longer have an OPEN mind with regards to certain things.   In fact, yes.. I'm being rather closed minded in regards to a few things.

In fact, I think I might encourage and be supportive of people having close minds, and establishing better person limit systems.  Also, encourage Dom/Master to reconsider what they are doing as well.   Such as somebody who's desire is to start a Sex Slave family by kidnapping or taking young underage girls.  I totally and openly admit that I have a moral base line.  There are things I can not humanly endorse nor be supportive of.   

Sure there's the classic debate of your kink is not my kink, or your thing is not my thing.  I can not support everything being an open ended free for all of anything goes.   This is why it's easy for sociopaths to hang out in the middle of the lifestyle.  Everything is not so black and white.  Think about the many things that sociopaths love and do, and think about all the activities and extreme D/s dynamics that exist in the lifestyle.

I hear horror stories on a daily basis, men and women both who have been used and abused by predators or by the world in general.  Sad stories, hurts-to-hear stories. 
Someone who wants to help needs to set aside their anger at the perps because it is an ineffective emotion. A better approach is to assist the wounded to learn how to make choices now, today, that gives them strength and skills to survive and thrive.

I agree with this, I just needed to rant for a few and get this off my chest.  Plus, there are limits to what I can keep an open mind about.

I think it's good to advocate intolerence at times, as much as it is to advocate tolerence.

Too many people hide behind BDSM or D/s or some other thing to excuse their behaviors and actions.  Hell, even people hide behind religion and other things.

Yep, there are things that are just plain W-R-O-N-G.  However, the baddies aren’t going to change their ways just because a decent and caring person tells them to.  Tolerance vs intolerance is a fine line to walk.  I hope it helped to put your thoughts in writing.

I've been using the message boards for awhile in part to explore and open my mind with regards to few things.  There are few topics or issues that I'm in the middle on, and things that I'm all for it without a question.

I could have took the assist the wounded approach in my OP, however I took the baseball bats and chain saws and asshole approach.  

Perhaps one of those crazy stalker types popped into here from the other side.  Perhaps some DOM read my words and it made him rethink things, that Geee.. perhaps I should not be so stalkerish.   Perhaps some idiot DOM thinks that D/s and control is about doing things in a Stalker manner.

Just as Music expresses emotions and thoughts and depths of human life, so are the things that people write.   If my OP was a song, it would have been an Angry song with lots of heavy things going on.   I was playing Heavy Metal music instead of writing another one like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jcrwu6WGoMs

In all honestly, the type of DOMs or people I wrote about in my OP tend to provoke dark sadistic thoughts inside my mind.  Not the loving type of sadistic thoughts.  This is just part of my own personality.

Besides it was a little refreshing to start a thread up, and roll along with the snarky remarks and humor in the process.  Actually at times, I enjoy snarky attacks and wit being tossed directly at me.  Even more so when I'm in a bit of a Sadist and Maso mode at the same time.  Damn, did I just admit to it.  I mean come on, let's be honest folks.  There's people that totally bask in mental S&M on here!  Should be no great Shock if somebody admits to it.

Anyways, I got something off my chest, my rant is over with.

It -is- a character issue -- but it is more prevalent among male individuals who call themselves "doms" and then prey on needy, desperate, overworked, underpaid, low-self-esteem women who have been screwed once or twice over already and who are only looking for a way to get safe.

That being said, within the animalistic side of every human is the Beast who is seeking out prey -- and when the prey make themselves so available in an environment that simple -reeks- of predatory capacity... well... it's no surprise that some people are going to end up -very-, -very- hurt.

It isn't just a matter of railing at the assholes who are using domination to get their rocks off and scam what they can -- it also has to be a matter of finding the prey and teaching it how to get the hell out of harm's way... not in a specific "he said, she said" kind of way, but in a general "this is how you protect yourself ,and no matter how needy you -think- you are, patience -is- a virtue" kind of way.

I understand the rant -- but my thing is "Cool, we're all not OK with this, but are you up to -doing- anything to make your local BDSM community a little bit less of a walking meat-market?"
