Status: offline 		I just made my very LAST, " maintenance" payment to my ex-wife. From now on, ALL my money is MINE

I am pretty fucking happy..lol

Can I just show my naiivete not having every done the marriage/divorce thang.... what are maintenance payments for?  Is it different to the money you pay to support any mini you's?

Status: offline 		It is alimony, it's for the ex-wife (or husband), often given if there was a huge discrpancy in income and other considerations (like inability to work).
