It came to me that other than bdsm related stuff and a few random facts and stupidity, i don't really know much about those that i interact here on a daily basis with.
So was thinking it might be nice (i'm probably wrong, usually am ) to get to know some every day stuff about my fellow posters.
 
So here goes :-

What are your hobbies? Reading, listening to music, shopping, embroidery.
Fave book? I don't have one but love anything by martina cole, stephen king and M de S.
Fave cd? Blondie greatest hits signed by the lady herself.
Fave possession? At the moment my pink diamante collar.
Worst habit? Biting my toe nails.
Fave food? Prawns - huge ones lol.
Fave drink? Coffee, wine, southern comfort
Fave film? Hmm between the company of wolves, beaches and the green mile
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ When i was a little girl i wanted to be Kate Bush and could sing just like her.
And anything else you'd like us to know................. 
I'd rather plait snot than do the house work. I'd rather have really bad eye cheese than be made to wear flat shoes. I am a complete wuss when it comes to pain (unconsensual ). I'm extremely shy.

What are your hobbies? Hobbies?
Fave book? at the moment, The Phantom Tollbooth (really need to get another copy of that)
Fave cd? At the moment, the broadway st of Les Mis
Fave possession? my lithograph of Pretty Peepers (#29 out of 50) signed by both Olivia and Bettie!!
Worst habit? smoking / drinking
Fave food? varies.  Having a serious craving for peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches, though...
Fave drink? Mt. Dew, Beer
Fave film? varies.  Silence of the Lambs is always in my top 5 though.
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ I used to sing in a church choir

Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ Hmmmm, I was a high school dropout until I smartened up and returned back to school and then went on to college in my mid twenties.

And anything else you'd like us to know.................  Only thing I can think of is I came close to getting married, twice in the past 7 years.

Worst habit? Smoking

What do you do for a living? - Im a care worker but starting my second degree in a few weeks
What are your hobbies? - Reading, Writing and Photography
Fave book? - ohh too hard, i guess high fidelity
Fave cd? - at the moment join with us, but it changes
Fave possession? - arther my teddy bear and my rabbit (poor me always being single)
Worst habit? -  picking, i pick scabs and stuff all the time
Fave food? -  brocolli
Fave drink? - beer i guess, or tea
Fave film? - too many wont even try to answer
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ - i own about 50 pairs of shoes but only ever wear two of them

Fave book? really don't have one except for the one i'm currently scripting

Fave possession?  my music memorabilia ...some of it is autographed by local musicians and famous ones

Worst habit?  perfectionism

Fave food?  pizza, ribs and Cherry Garcia ice cream

Fave drink? non drinker

Fave film? foreign or indie film such as Joy Luck Club, Curse of the Golden Flower, Au Revior Les Enfants

Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ i was classically trained for opera and took piano lessons

Something we'd be surprised to know about you?  I was the Captain of my church's teen quiz team.  We'd study a book of the Bible at a time, and then get quizzed (like on Jeopardy) on it over the course of several months, at different levels: local, district, regional, state.
And anything else you'd like us to know?  My dream guy was always a tall, Southern gentleman, military service background, with a tremendous sense of family and morals.

Been on permanent disability since '01. Before that I retired from the Army and then worked for Campbel Soup for 13 years in the maintinance department.

What are your hobbies?
Love to read, surf the net (for bondage pics and stories) and model railroading. I also collect and shoot rifles and pistols and have a fairly extensive collection.
 
Fave book?
Alomst anything dealing with both American wars of succession
 
Fave cd?
No particular favorite but, in general, I like classical music and the older country.

Fave possession?
My collection of high power rifles.

Worst habit?
When I drink I don't stop until I am realy waisted

Fave food?
Not really. As long as it fills my gut i am happy.

Fave drink?
Coffee (strong and black) or beer.

Fave film?
Lord of The Rings trilogy.

Something we'd be surprised to know about you........
Tried my hand at shooting and publishing bondage videos but it didn't work out financially.

Have an idea for a really wild Damsil in Distress scene but  I'll only discuss the details of that with a potential play partner.

Status: offline 		What do you do for a living? I'm a psychologist and am taking my time at the moment looking for a job I will feel passionate about and will challenge me (and pay me lots of money)
What are your hobbies? lazing around, seeing friends, art galleries, shopping, driving, reading, listening to music, seeing bands and a million other things.
Fave book? generally whatever I am reading at the moment so right now it would be Jude The Obscure by Thomas Hardy (I was heartbroken to get rid of so many of my books when I moved)
Fave cd? Toss up between any of my Augie March (Aussie band) cd's or the ones signed by Ron Hawkins (Canadian singer)
Fave possession? lots of them...I am so shallow.... my car, my teddy bear that was given to me when I was born, my gucci handbag, my swarovski crystal collection and my photos of family and friends.... the non shallow answer would be my health, I was given a second chance at life and now treasure every moment.
Worst habit? I have a million but the most frustrating for me is my indecisiveness.  Also not knowing left and right and having no sense of direction means I spend a lot of my life getting lost.
Fave food?I love seafood and asian food.
Fave drink? Water (yes very boring)
Fave film? Platoon is one of my all time favourites as well as Dogs In space (Aussie film which had Michael Hutchence in it)
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ I literally cry at the drop of a hat, if someone is telling me about something wonderful that happened to them I will choke up, if they tell me something sad I will choke up.... I like to think that I am very much in touch with my emotions ha ha.
And anything else you'd like us to know................. some of the most rewarding experiences of my life were when I used to do volunteer work in the oncology section of a childrens hospital and also when I looked after people with an AIDS related diagnosis who chose to die at home.  Sadly I lost a lot of 'friends' when doing the latter work through their own prejudices and ignorance.... their loss.

edited to add..... bloody hell, I also tend to choose the long-winded answer, less is never more damnit!

and I am really liking reading about people.  Thanks for making this thread Misst.

Status: offline 		What do you do for a living? Fraud Pathologist ~ I look at folks Credit cards all day determining if there is fraud on them.
What are your hobbies? Oh Geez... Volunteering, Church activities, The SCA  , Equestrian stuff, sewing, embroidery, beading, anything textiles realy, Singing my little heart out.. and dancing.
Fave book? Too many! I *love* books. I am a mainly Non Fiction kinda gal. But The Kushiels Dart books and stuff by Laurell K Hamilton rock my world. I also realy enjoyed the Harry Potter books. ( There I said it! )
Fave cd? Too many! My music collection looks like some one with MPD got ahold of it. I listen to classical, Opera, New Age, Metal, Rock, Some Top 40, Jazz, Blues, R&B... you name it.
Fave possession? Oh geez... My family bible with the family history and keepsakes in it... and my altar and everything on it. ~ which includes a tin candy box from England of my mother's who passed that holds the 1st set of Taro cards she bought me.
Worst habit? Worring, and thinking I should be perfect.
Fave food? I'm Pregnant... that changes at a whim... But it is usualy Indian and Asian food. ( Which I can cook like a mofo. ) Also just about any type of fruit is a safe bet. I am secretly a fruit bat. Shhhh....
Fave drink? Herbal Iced Tea, and Juice.
Fave film? House of the Flying Daggers, The Fountain, City of Angels, Kung-fu Hustle, Hero, Crouching Tiger-Hidden Dragon, Serenity, Dune, Blade Runner, Office Space, The Crow. ACk! I forgot to add A Lion in Winter ( yes both of them) and just about any "period" film. Esp Kate Blanchete's Elizabeth Movies. Oh the textile orgasims I had watching them. And just about anything ( ok other then Dungeons and Dragons.. that was lame) the Jeremy Irons has made. He is such a Dream Boat!
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ I was the lead vocalist in a Jazz/Bules band yeeeears ago. & I love me some Nascar.
And anything else you'd like us to know................. I am pretty much an open book on here.. and I Love you guys!
