I love The Joy Luck Club! However The Curse of the Golden Flower was good.. but I could not get behind her and really feel sorry for her after the whole son thing. Beautiful scenes... and Chow Yun-Fat  is just damn dreamy and one of the best actors of all time in my book. I was chomping at the bit for that movie to be released. The last one I will have to get.. I love sub-titled films... But the French I do not have to worry with reading.. and I am getting better on my Mandrin understanding.  Darn if I can speak it though.

What are your hobbies? Reading, crafts, going to movies, mini-golf, laser quest, swimming, playing piano.
Fave book? The Diary of Anne Frank, Pornology (very funny), Breaking Dawn and so many more.
Fave cd? Too many to mention. I love so many different kinds of music. Hinder and Stabbing Westward are probably two that I am listening to the most right now, oh and the soundtrack from Across the Universe.
Fave possession? My mother's ring. It has all my kids' birthstones and names on it as well as my birthstone.
Worst habit? Procrastination
Fave food? Godiva truffles, tiramisu, cheesecake (yes, I have a serious sweet tooth!)
Fave drink? Brandy Alexander or Ambrosia. Sweet tea.
Fave film? 300, A Beautiful Life, The Princess Bride, Pan's Labrynth (again too many to mention)

What do you do for a living?  after years in the wood finishing business, i'm finally out of it (yay) and am now training for a position with a great company that has benefits and opportunities galore.
What are your hobbies?  i play the piano, draw and sketch, and write. 
Fave book?  The Stand, by Stephen King
Fave cd?  anything by Frank Sinatra, George Strait is a close second though.
Fave possession?  my sense of humor and my drive.  my most prized physical posession is a big hunk of fools gold given to me by my dad when i was a kid and a painting of his that he did before i was born.
Worst habit?  procrastination and stress eating.
Fave food?   beef.  bloody.
Fave drink? a good sangria, coffee, green tea with jasmine.
Fave film?   West Side Story
Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ i was a long distance runner in high school.  i trained to be a classical pianist and my goal until i got married was to play in a symphony.
And anything else you'd like us to know.................   i'm a damned good cook and a better baker, one of my dreams that is still on the front burner is to eventually own my own bakery.

I hate that we are so far apart! One of my dreams is opening up a Bistro or a B&B once the economy isn't in the shitter. Between my culinary genius... and your fantasical Baking skills... ( just make me some French Almond Croissants... and all will be happy!)

What are your hobbies? reading, exercisng, talking on the phone, scrapbooking, making cards, going to movies, laying with Him.
Fave book? Harry Potter, almost anything by Laurel K. Hamilton, one of the books i'm currently reading is Wicked.
Fave cd? Don't really have one.....
