ORIGINAL: aravain Hmmm... I think I have a different outlook on punishment than everyone else does... that's ok :) I'm used to it. It was grueling... it was hard... but a part of me still enjoyed it. I don't really understand why people would endure a punishment that at least part of them didn't 'enjoy' though, of course, I'm using the term enjoy rather loosely. You have to think it's right, I think, at least part of you, that you're being punished, otherwise it's no longer something that I'd be willing to undergo. Aravain I think you might be the only sub on the entire planet who thinks like I do! In some way or other I would enjoy any form of punishment (with the exception of being released), I mean isn't that the very definition of masochist? mas·och·ism gratification gained from pain, deprivation, degradation, etc., inflicted or imposed on oneself, either as a result of one's own actions or the actions of others, esp. the tendency to seek this form of gratification It doesn't matter what the punishment is, if I did something to deserve being punished, aren't I simply getting what I asked for? And if I get a "punishment" out of the blue for no apparent reason, simply because he wants to, then that's enjoyable too. :)
