Status: offline 		You're probably not getting a lot of responses because your title says "how do you react to a spanking" but your message says "how do you react to punishment".

So what is your question:
1.  How do you react to a spanking?
2.  How do you react to punishment?
3.  If spanking is used as punishment, how do you react to that?
4.  If spanking is used as both pleasure and punishment, how do you react to that?

Or something else?


At this point, spanking is a pleasure and it takes me right to the edge of orgasm and holds me there for an UNBEARABLY long time.  At least in my world.

but i mean "punishment" like the role playing kind, i love it!

Status: offline 		I don't think I have ever had a spanking used as a punishment. If so it would not have worked. I love spankings, whether they are with a bare hand or a belt, crop, flogger, paddle, etc. The worst part for me about a punishment is in the disappointment. But because I hate to disappoint, that has so rarely ever been a factor in any of my past relationships.

Status: offline 		I thank my Mistress graciously and make sure I stay as still as possible.  Squirm too much and you'll get whacked in the wrong spot potentially injuring yourself (ie too high on the pelvis).  Too much squirming may cause her to stop and I don't want that.  I make sure I keep count for her unless otherwise told to ensure a steady rhythm.  Besides if I am counting I am not going, "Ow!"  because ow is not a safeword.

I enjoy the pain of a spanking.  However a spanking is not used as a punishment for myself as it is a reward.  A true punishment I do not enjoy and that is solely because to be punished I must have done something wrong (or failed to do something) and I do not like to disappoint.

Status: offline 		Hmmm... I think I have a different outlook on punishment than everyone else does... that's ok :) I'm used to it.

For me 'punishment' happens only when I've attempted to take control from my dominant. That is the point that I would be 'punished' and 'put in my place' as it were. However... I enjoy it. For me it's the rush of having control taken away from me that I enjoy, it might not be the actual punishment. One time when I did something 'wrong' with my ex he stopped me... and my punishment was that I wasn't allowed to touch him until he said so.

It was grueling... it was hard... but a part of me still enjoyed it. I don't really understand why people would endure a punishment that at least part of them didn't 'enjoy' though, of course, I'm using the term enjoy rather loosely. You have to think it's right, I think, at least part of you, that you're being punished, otherwise it's no longer something that I'd be willing to undergo.

As it comes to spanking, however... well, that probably would be an effective punishment. I wouldn't know for sure as I've only experienced it as a playful slap, usually while fully clothed and doing something that made my ex happy.

Status: offline 		i've never been spanked as punishment. When i'm spanked i wiggle & moan, or twist & shout, giggle or cry. The spanking is never the same way twice. We are both in a differnt mood or place or environment each time, so each one has it's own special style and response. Always yummy, tho :)

the worst punishment to us would be being ignored.
i had a switch used on me as punishment . looking back its quite erotic, but at the time and little after i was just scared to death.

To the OP: i try to avoid punishment at all costs but occaisionally it seems i fail. i loathe corner time and punishment spankings however my body betrays my mind and i am usually soaking so for me punishment ends up being a personal mind fuck...i don't know how else to describe it~
 
As to play or sexual spankings...can't say i seek them out. i prefer to be bound and stroked to being spanked

Status: offline 		i rarely get spanked for a punishment. When i do, i have to try not to jerk away. There's no fun in it at all.

When i am spanked for His pleasure, it is easier... i still sometimes have to try not to jerk away (if it is especially hard or on a spot He has already 'tenderized') but it is easier to absorb the pain.  i'm not really masochistic, though the spankings don't bother me the way they used to. i prefer thuddy over stings and He is the opposite.  If i am getting a thuddy spanking or flogging, i know i am being rewarded. *smile*

All in all, i think i prefer a spanking as a punishment over something like corner time. It is over fairly quickly and only hurts for a few minutes, really. The marks may last a week, but they are a good reminder.  i may get tears in my eyes, but rarely cry from it.

But I like it. I wriggle a lot, and Daddy tells me "be still."  I love to obey his commands, so that thrills me.
Spankings are not punishment, but they are discipline.
What I want most is to be a good and obedient girl, and spankings are a way I can be that.  They absolve and free me.  Plus they make me fly into the stratosphere.

Aravain I think you might be the only sub on the entire planet who thinks like I do!  In some way or other I would enjoy any form of punishment (with the exception of being released), I mean isn't that the very definition of masochist?

It doesn't matter what the punishment is, if I did something to deserve being punished, aren't I simply getting what I asked for?  And if I get a "punishment" out of the blue for no apparent reason, simply because he wants to, then that's enjoyable too.  :)

Getting a good spanking can make me kick, squirm, cry, and cum. Depending on the type of spanking, it can be a good punishment or reward for me.

I gave spanked a guy over the weekend until his ass was bright red, and starting to bruise. He kicked and begged the whole time trying to get me to stop, but later he said he loved it.
