Has anyone else noticed the new caption that highlights
the latest threads at the top of the page and on the other side?
If you have not seen it, it is at the top of this page, under the box
that highlights the thread being shown.

It says "As the D-ring turns", I think it is cute.
I wonder what the D stands for?

Also, have you noticed the "Who recently searched for your profile" feature?
Its above the who is viewing you feature.

I think a D ring is most commonly recognized as the hook thing on a dog collar (thats what i think of when I hear the word, anyways).

Hello Mz Mia,
 
A "D-ring" is a piece of hardware frequently used to secure ropes, straps, leashes and so forth to slaves.
 
You will frequently see Dom/mes at dungeons with several on a belt for hanging various tools or keeping a slave at heel.
 
Some of the more stylish ones collected D-rings in rainbow colors for the whole Pride statement.

If nobody has done an active search for you by typing in your ID, then you won't see the feature there. I did not see it on mine until 2 people the same night had searched for me. Then the feature was there and these people were listed as having recently searched for my profile.

Yes, I noticed this too.  But does it mean they merely searched for your profile but didn't actually view it?

I had my slave try writing my screenname in the "home" search feature, and he says it comes up "no profile found". I doublechecked to make sure that I hadn't accidentally left my profile in "hidden" status. Nope. Plus, he said my profile still comes up as usual if he clicks on my screennname from one of my messages. So would someone please try searching for me using the "home" search feature and see what happens? Thanks!

...Not to jack the thread, I was just trying to see if I could get the "who recently seached for your profile" feature to show.

I just searched for your name, and your whole profile came up.  I didn't click on "view" profile, but it was open for the reading just by doing the search.  That's why I wasn't clear if it just does a search or a view.

huh. the Who searched for me didn't come up. I had a friend do a search on my nic. nada.

Huh? If you search by screen name  (in the "home" menu) you should see the name appear as in a list. Then you should be able to view it by clicking on it. What do you mean, "it was open for the reading just by doing the search"? How's that? You should hafta click on the resulting screenname in order to open the profile for viewing.
