And I'll ask you the same question that C1 couldn't answer, where in your beliefs does it teach that it is OK to resort to such tactics?

What tactics are you refering to? Scaring people? Did I say it was ok to scare people.....didn't think so.

When i was in approximately junior high school my Sunday school class watched this movie about  Armageddon.  The movie was so creepy and horrible i've never been able to get it very far out of my mind. It seems to me that in recent years there have been more and more focus on 'end of times' movies, books, conversations, news reports, etc. The part that did (and continues to) freak the hell out of me with regard to the Armageddon movie was the way one woman was talking on the phone to her friend and suddenly her friend wasn't there.
Here's the reality for me: i believe i'm inherently a good person, i don't commit crimes, i don't deliberately harm people, i feel guilt and remorse, and have tried to leave this world a little better off than it was when i entered it.  However that does nothing to dissuade my fear of  the 'end of times'.  Does anyone else struggle with these issues or am i going insane all alone?
