He tends to call me 'sir' or 'my master', sometimes by my given name, which is fine. If he wished to call me by a cute name, as I call him my 'Dear One', 'Treasure', 'Angel', and sometimes 'Trouble', I think I would be fine with it, depending on the specifics.

I have a tendency to be a wee bit irreverent..so I would be hard put not to come up with some cheeky,goofy name for the Dominant...Tempting

Thank you all for the input.... many of your posts made me smile and even laugh. Sounds to me we're all in agreement... as long as it's with proper tone, and said at the right time, calling our loved one by an endearing name is acceptable.

Mine is my LOVER whom I love and who loves me. I have a hard time seeing myself rejecting any term of endearment. That being said, I like being called "master" myself... but I would feel a deep loss if she stopped calling me "sweetie, honey, and bunny".

I would prefer Sir or Master at all times. Although I understand that a woman is more emotional, I have to concede that at times mushy names are going to beblurted out. How do I respond to a mushy name, I confirm my existence distinctly and sign off with something like, "Yes" or maybe, "I understand" then usually, I will address the very next time I am with her, the proper title and protocol to be followed and this results in the punishment of the sits. She knows them and performs them regularly and usually involves some sort of other enduring punishment.

I often wonder if the reason she does call me by one of her "pet" or "Mushy" names is to receive the punishment on our next encounter up front anyway? Uhmmm... nah she would never be that passive agressive would she????

Sometimes, I'm more than satisfied if they actually answer the phone. Or that the number they gave me is real.

Whilst a large number of stuffy individuals with whom I must associate with for business/policical reasons have accepted that some people adress me as "Rev" and that I am an ordaned Pagan Priest, and that there is probably going to be a "servant" or two about who will adress me formally, I am having difficulty in immagining at the end of a banquet a girl addressing me as "God" and exclaimimg how she loves me stretching her ass when I fuck it. Probably much spluttering, and mass swoonings from the females there as well as multiple coronary occlusions. However it is just as likely I will have stumbled on a hidden kink group too who will give us a standing ovation and demand for an instant demonstration.

I always call him Master. I'm only to use his name to get his attention in an emergency. However, he calls me slavegirl alot which has led to me calling him Masterman quite a bit.

The other day I found myself calling him Mister Masterman but I don't want to make that one become a habit.

No - but it is funny!

What my Sir is called is .... drumroll ...... "Sir"!
and i have called him occasionally - gamey, whiffy, craggy, seasoned, and a few others - but only when i am feeling fast or want a beating. I am lucky that my Sir thinks i am funny (sometimes) and cheeky (occasionally), and makes allowances.

I call him by his name(not his given the nickname everyone uses),Sir, baby,honey,sweetheart , lover, my love, but my most favorite nick name is also often used to replace the titles Sir(I do use that some) or Master(which I do not call him...his orders) is Bow. the flip side of this is my nickname"Belle" this can be used as a substitute for more vanilla nicknames or to replace the words girl,property,slave etc.(so it's nice to hear sometimes and others(when im in trouble) it's not).
