What would be involved in bringing an international slave into the United States for permanent residence? Is it even possible without bringing them over on a work visa? Since I am seeking a second slave who would not be working outside the home, howerver, that isn't really an option.

Anyone have any exerpience in this area?

Do you have someone specific in mind? I would think it would depend on what country they are in also.

Wouldn't it be easier to find someone already in your area?

Not unless you marry them. Or, they apply and successfully get any number of work visas - but that takes time, money and skills that are in demand in this country (ie, getting sponsored by a company with a need). A person can come into the US for up to 6 months on a tourist visa. They cannot work legally during that time. You can have them overstay their tourist visa, but they won't be able to cross the border and come back in - ever. They would be here illegally.

I immigrated a Canadian legally through marriage. I thought it would be a no-brainer with a variety of options and flexibility since he was college educated, had no legal troubles, was employable. I found out that it was a much bigger nightmare than that. We got an attorney and did it all legally, but it still required we get married while he was here in a tourist visa. All the other options required a ton of waiting time, paperwork, and being separated. Immigration sucks.

its probably someone young...and obviously hot looking...(cause why else would they want her if from another country) who lives at home and wants to get away from parents and this way parents wont be around since in another country.

In Michigan we have to have a visa when visiting another state. They will let you enter Detroit if you have a car worth stealing. I don't want to say the Mayor of Detroit is bad but even Obama did'nt want him at his convention. Op if you want a slave come to my work. There are plenty of them here.

Nothing quite so devious, I'm afraid; just simple mathematics. Six billion plus people in the world, fewer than 300 million in the United States. I was simply looking to increase the odds. :o)
