Barbie23 -> Multiple doms? (8/27/2008 7:24:59 AM)

I know it is common for a Dom/Master to have multiple slaves/subs, whether in training or play.. But is it usual for a submissive to have multiple Doms? or Mentors..  I ask because there have been several opportunities for me to Submit but I feel that the different Doms i meet fulfill different needs of my personality.. So, Is it acceptable to have more than one Dom? and if yes... is is acceptable to have more than one Master?
What do you think?

i have in the past served more than one Dominant, both knew about the other. Each met a different need in my life. As long as there is honesty and all parties consent, what would be unacceptable about it? It may not be as much of the "norm" so to speak, but it is perfectly acceptable as long as it is acceptable to the people involved.

It's acceptable as long as its acceptable to the parties involved.

I find it humorous that the most common reason cited for a submissive to not have more than one Dominant/Master/Top is that "it is impossible to serve more than one well."   I was a waitress and I could certainly handle several tables each with several diners and make sure each diner got their exact order and each diner got exceptional service.  I think in general one female is able to accomodate more than one Man more than one Man can accomodate more than one female, but that's based only on my own experience and point of view.  Most Dominants cite the reason for a submissive to be monogomous to HIM is that He doesn't share and that she cannot serve two well.... unless of course she also serves another female and he gets to watch.....

But even more humorous is the thought that a submissive who doesn't care to share her Dominant is automatically insecure, jealous and will get all kinds of advice on how to not be jealous and insecure like her feelings are BAD.... but the Dominant isn't jealous or insecure when HE doesn't want to share *coughbullshitcough*

Bottom line....just be up front with everyone, be yourself and enjoy enjoy enjoy!

It is acceptable if all parties involved agree to it.  What we think doesn't matter.

People should stop basing their relationships on someone else's ideas!  What any relationship is should be whatever the people involved in it agree upon!  What anyone outside of it thinks is irrelevent!  If you want to be with more than one Dom and can find multipul Doms who are okay with that then do it.

This is completely up to the people involved. To be part of our household, a servant would have to be comfortable with serving multiple dominants, because our household has multiples and everyone pretty much shares and shares alike, as long as the activity being contemplated isn't a hard limit for a given servant. As long as everyone was on the same page about it, I think it could be an awesome experience.

Dnomyar -> RE: Multiple doms? (8/27/2008 10:37:17 AM)

The reason I have mulitable subs is that I provide them with multiable orgasums. I know of several women on here who have multiable Doms. Subtee you can ask me before Labor Day. Thats when the stores will put up their christmas trees anyway.

Funny, had this issue come up today when my Online Slave who is under Cum Restriction had her other Dom order her to find someone to make her cum... We ironed out a solution, but it can sure mess up a well-organized training schedule.

As long as one can deal with situations like that, than I guess its fine, right?

*nods* This is why the d-types in our household try to communicate about what things might be going into a training, or any special restrictions or rules a given servant may be under. It's a bit harder to manage with multiple people giving instructions, but as long everyone is informed about what's going on, there is less chance of accidental conflicting orders (like what happened with you) or even intentional manipulation... things like the "D-type 1 won't let me do X, so I'll get d-type 2 to order me to do it." form of manipulation that can happen sometimes.

I agree with you eyesopened, many doms feel that way because they fear losing what they have.  I have been asked in the past by a sub if she could have another Master to serve.  I was almost estatic because it releived a bit of weekly pressure from me to have to fulfill something I wasn't able to give the sub.  I guess for me it was also a great experience because she never did leave me for the other Master in the end also.  so good experiences have shaped my thoughts...  Hoep they do yours as well.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as they all know and are fine with it. Although, honestly I've found it pretty rare to even know of dominants that like to share someone (to the level of co-ownership) that they actually care of. When I was single I dated multiple dominants at once, for similar reasons, but it was all very much above the board and casual.

Get bored? We have multiple dominants (and servants) in the household because it works for us. It is completely conceivable to any of us that having multiple individuals means that different needs can be attended to simultaneously, different interests can be enjoyed simultaneously, and one individual is not required to meet every single need of everyone else involved (especially because after I've done a cutting, a servant isn't typically going to be ready to jump right up and fix my Darling her tea! [;)].

This means that we can have a servant who has blood-play as a hard limit, because he's a good body-servant and my Darling enjoys a good body servant, and who is also interested in pony training, so I can get my feet wet there... and we can have a blood-toy for me who can -also- clean a mean kitchen and cook a wonderful meal for my Darling. It provides flexibility and opportunity -- but I can honestly say that it -never- produces boredom! *chuckles*
